Some of the securities I sold were in US dollars. The T5008 does not have a box for exchange rate for easy conversion to Cdn dollars. Otherwise, love Turbotax.

Using Premier version
Because of an unusual income situation, I had to use Premier version - complicated calculations involving private companies' T5s.
I am quite pleased with the Easy Steps system to assure that I did not miss anything. I filed confidently this year.

Great integration with CRA
I've used this product since it first came out. I can't compare to other products, but it's smooth, and the easy step section gets better every year. Only caveat is that the "help" for particular pages is rather limited--other than the basic explanation it wants to send you to discussion groups, CRA website, etc.

Consistently great product

An Annual Must Have Purchase
It is an excellent product and I have used it for myself and immediate family for over 20years. I just wish you print some of the summaries and comparisons when completing the return it would make the users life simpler when completing the return.

Turbo Tax Premier
Good software that is easy to use and very intuitive. You have 2 options to enter your tax information; you can use the easy method by answering questions and having all information automatically populated for you or you can choose to manually enter all of the information.
My only complaint is that Turbo Tax needs to "spell check" the wording in the software. It is rather unsettling to see spelling errors in a software that you are divulging so much personal information to. My suggestion is to please spell check all words in your software, this will help Turbo Tax appear as a professional and polished software.
