Cra will not accept net filing and program will not tell you what the problem is. No technical support from Turbo tax , these people are impossible to reach, can't find a number , unbelievable!!!!!

2020 Turbo Tax's worst year for me
There is nowhere to ask a question and actually receive a response from a live person
Also, there were no mentions of solutions to the problem at hand - that I could find.

Really Terrible Performance in 2020 Year
The easyflow did not allow manual entry of the T slips and deductions. it kept trying to import the slips off my CRA account which was not functional or transparent. I was forced to hack the T forms and deduction slips.
Easyflow also did not bring up the medical expense deductions.
I will not be back despite using Intuit tax software for the last decade and more.
Terrible experience.. It took five hours to do two very simple returns.

Getting Worse Each Year
Way too buggy. Error messages all the time. Interface is 10 years old and out of date. Value is not there anymore. Links don't work or error messages on Net file. Come on folks at Intuit you can do better than this. Spend some money and fix this antique program. This will be the last year I use you software. Sorry, you let me down.

Unable to print, unable to upload
Unable to print the documents. The program says go to HELP and download new version but in the HELP section you are unable to download the new version. Very disappointed with this years Turbotax. Doing taxes is very frustrating and usually Turbotax eases some of that frustration. But after putting in 2 hours of inputting everything and then not being able to print, OMG!!

Worst Tax Software for T5008 Form Entry
Turbo tax requires you to select either investment or capital gain for each stock trade. It takes an hour to enter investment or capital gain for every 100 trades. For baby boomers with investment accounts, this can mean between 4 and 8 hours to fill in the form. The Turbo tax programmers could program a select all button for the T5008 forms on the first page and then let you select investment or capital gain for your stock trades. Then click the accept button and then the whole process could be done in less than 45 seconds of user time. Making this change would keep Turbo tax customers with investment accounts.

Glitchy
We have used Turbotax for years and years, and this year was such a horrible experience I am not sure if we trust to use the product again. It took 3 times as long as it should have, the correct screens wouldn't pop up, or allow us to go to the next page, and we had to search out help online, which then took more time to wait by phone. Such a frustrating and horrible experience this year I should have just given up and done it by hand.

Use another program
The link between intuit and the CRA crashed the intuit program at least 6 times when doing my our returns, including during submission of netfile. i had to check on the CRA website to ensure it was filed as intuit showed that it wasn't filed. VERY FRUSTRATING.

I have used Turbotax for 6 years and it gets more complicated to use each year. This year I had almost completed the return and wanted to compare with 2019. However it could not find last year's return and when I went back to download 2019, Turbo tax had deleted all my work. Next year I will change

not user friendly for deceased
I have used turbo tax in the past and it was very easy to use. I lost my wife this year and both returns, mine and my wife's last tax return was not very easy to file. Was not very user friendly and was not able to file on line

major headache
I did 2 relatives' returns. They were so frustrating. After 3 decades of using Can tax, quick tax and now Turbo Tax, I felt competent. No way. My best example of frustration is the WORK FROM HOME factor. I hit SEARCH, HELP, ETC. Finally I went to another computer and GOOGLED. It told me about 777S. Turbo Tax did not. To complete my frustration, I was not able to Netfile the taxes. The warning were useless. I gave up and mailed the returns.

Deceptive recommendation to upgrade to Premier
We cashed some Mutual funds & the "Standard" software kept bugging me to upgrade. I did, without knowing if it would save us money - It didn't.
I feel like TurboTax deceived me with the recommendation & vague promises.
As far as I can tell, if you've gotten your receipts from an institution, you don't need Premier.

Avoid Turbotax until it's improved
I have been using Turbotax for a number of years but it now needs several improvements to be usable. Accessibility for people who use screen readers needs to be provided as it does not work with NArrator or NVDA. I had to contact support for an error from CRA that was not specific and the agent could not figure out why the screen sharing service Turbotax uses would not install on my computer. After over 1.5 hours with support, I ended the call and said I would try to get the screen sharing service working before our next scheduled support call. I got the screen sharing service working but I did not get a support call back at the specified time. I ended up getting the problem figured out on my own.

I have been using Turbo Tax for about 10 years. This is the WORST of them all. It wont let me save, also it will tell me I have used up all available spots when I have only filed one tax!

Problems with 2020 version
This is the first year over the last 15+ years I have had so many issues from Turbotax. Starting from the initial install with the white screen issues. Most of the help is still not relevant to questions and have the wrong line numbers. Foreign tax credits when entered for for one spouse seems to trigger the other spouse to also have it set and while there was no foreign tax they somehow got a credit. Hopefully next years version is much cleaner early on. This year has been very frustrating with this product.

No support
I have opened a ticket for not being able to netfile my federal return. It's been a week and nobody got back to me. Plus, my problem is not solved and there is a glitch, as I used a mock file with the most basic minimal info and my federal file still cannot be netfiled, while those of my wife's they go through.

worst year to date
I've used turbo tax for 12 plus years and I up graded to a higher version and it was no more useful. I had to get a new computer last month and the new windows version is not supported by turbotax and they knew this last Oct and have not fixed the problem so i had to borrow an older computer to finish this year

TURBO TAX COST ME HOURS
Premier was supposed to make my fileing of a simple investment easy, but the t5008 was a nightmare and even called to assistance. I had to do this manually and I had spent hours trying before and then hours doing. I am not happy because of this experience!

Does not recognize common-law status changes
TurboTax 2019 caused me so many issues because it did not recognize that common-law relationships only require a 90 day separation and therefore it is possible to be common-law, separated and single within the same tax year. This prevented me from using CRA's netfile, which is the big benefit of using tax software. Fix this asap please!

Taxed and Venting
The tax return line numbers were not searchable this year (for GoTo or Find features), nor were the line numbers available in the Help menu. This was additionally frustrating since all of the CRA's line numbers were changed to 5 digits this year. I was very disappointed about the lack of information in Turbo Tax as it really slowed my ability to file returns for my family on time! This is poor client service!!! I normally rely on this product to perform an adequate function. As a professional accountant, I will definitely check out other brands before purchasing tax software next year, even though I have used this brand for more than 10 years! This is POOR WORKMANSHIP, especially since the reduction in functionality was NOT reflected in the cost. I am truly DISAPPOINTED.

Aweful software glitch
Not easy to use, lacks lots of explanations. The software had a glitch, it wiped out my tax return and I had to do it again! I will never ever use. Expensive for bad service.

Poor Quality for 2019
I have used Turbo Tax for at least 15 years & never a problem until the 2019 edition. Couldn't save items that needed to be saved before filing etc Not happy - Will see what comes back on my Notice of Assessment. Help from Intuit was of no use.
