The product doesn't work well on surface pro. The slips entry forms are not legible. I tried everything and it still didn't work properly. I've used the product for years. I hope you will fix it for next year.

Worst Experience EVER !!
1) The Help Pop Ups extended past the bottom of screen, had trouble seeing bottom text
2) It was very hard to find particular forms after I started my return
3) Called up online support and the person couldn't answer my question with certainty. He could only say that his answer was what he believed was correct. -- REALLY????

4) I had to search the web to get an answer to another question because the built in Help was too generic.
5) The opening screen does not clearly indicate that I could pull in the previous year's return. Initially, I thought I couldn't import the previous year so I filled in everything manually.
I finally gave up and started searching around and finally realized that I could import the previous year.
6) Finally, and this is the worst. I could not install this Turbo tax on my machine or another computer I tried. It took me days of research before I realized that I needed to install a specific file on my computer. There was NOTHING on the TurboxTax support site. I found this out after reviewing numerous websites.
I've been using Turbotax (WinTax, then QuickTax) for MANY years, however, with all the 'pain' I had to endure with this year's product, I will "not" be purchasing Turbox Tax next year.

Software problems and no support
I encountered a problem with Medical receipts entered not showing up on summary. Long waits for TurboTax support staff (1 hour+), then after 1 hour on phone was told I would be sent a case number by email and contacted by an expert the following day (Sunday). Neither happened. Next call a few days later lasted 1 hour but didn't solve other than telling me to completely start over again, which I did. Overall, more than 6 hours on phone with TurboTax, never spoke to an expert despite requests to do so or to escalate. Finally re-did so that I wasted over 10-12 hours. Are there other software "glitches"? Don't tell you that "auto-fill" feature can't accept a large number of slips or that it will duplicate stuff you've already entered before "Auto-fill" is made available.
Totally frustrating experience and I've been using QuickTax/TurboTax for many years. Not again.

Just Not up to speed
I watched my husband and felt neglected while trying to use your software to complete his taxes. What should have been perhaps 1/2 day job turned into a 4 or 5 day chore because your staff lacked knowledge of your product and your software was inadequate for a Intraday Trader!

Very difficult
Was not able to efile - bounced a few times and I got locked out.
Auto load seemed to add info that could not be corrected and caused seemingly unreasonable issues
The simple overview table you used to provide is gone so one cannot easily watch the tax, tax rates (including incremental), etc.

I can never get in touch with the Turbo tax people by phone.
I don't find it easy to fill out the forms.
I think you can now get free software to fill out your forms, so why pay for it now.

Not as good as it used to be
Screen to screen way too slow.
Combined spouse returns confusing. Can't tell which return its on from one screen to next. Also, rental % keeps deleting if you back up screens, to check or correct something.
Also having to buy the premier package, just because I have rental income is annoying and a waste of money. I don't have 20 returns to file,

Should have done more testing
I've had so many issues with this program. Lots of error messages.....TT3015, T7805. These issues were never resolved. If I read online the number of customers that had these error issues with the program, then I wonder what type of testing goes on before a software release and what kind of value is brought to the paying customer. Quality of the software really sucks. I've used this product of the past 3 years but I must state, this is the last time I will use this product.

Glitch unfixed
I reported that the 50% button for joint claims for investments was not working. It was still not resolved three days later so I had to manually halve over 40 entries. Not fun. Then when I printed the returns it asked me about mailing them, no netfile option was listed. I had to manually enter the netfile option.

serious disappointment
Required two updates after purchase (bug fixes: try getting it right before April) and each time my saved data was lost and I had to start over again. Then it crashed during Netfile when I tried to print, and when I restarted it my numbers were different from what had just been submitted. What an unreliable waste of time. Very disappointed this year. And seriously? you don't allow any negative words in the title of a review?

Lost my file when Windows update was done
I spent over 5 hours completing 3 different tax returns
I was going to finish them the next day. Left Turbotax open after SAVING my file. My computer went through a Windows update overnight, and files were lost. Tried everything to find them again, but not luck. Helpdesk was not helpful. Poorly written code if files are not "autosaved" if left open, and how did they disappear if they were actually saved?
I know I saved them as they were in my "recent files" list, but that folder was 100% empty.

Doesn't handle foreign exchange
I think most investors have some in US dollars. Without the capability to handle foreign currencies and conversions, I don't see how this product can even be called Premier.

Does not import Quicken
Disabling of the importing for 2016 returns in 2017 after insisting we upgrade to Quicken 2016 for the 2015 returns is a rip off and a pain in the rear.
I will be looking for another software for 2017 return after 10 years of using Turbo tax / Quick tax.

- Way too many tax tips that are completely not appropriate for my case
- awkward way to switch to forms and back, especially if you're in quebec and have two sets of forms

Dissapointed
This product for 2016 just did not function properly. It kept changing format and jumping to sections other than requested. It ultimately would not allow me to netfile my returns. Have used TurboTax inr previous years and it worked fine.

Bought the premier version, the software asked me to upgrade to higher version.

I have been using Turbo tax for over 10 years and have been very satisfied until now.
Today I received a message on my Turbo Tax screen that because my computer runs on Vista I will no longer be able to use Turbo tax to netfile my taxes. My taxes are due tomorrow and I was planning to netfile them tonight. This is very inconvenient. Now I don't know what to do. Plus now I am NOT getting good value from using Turbo tax

A disappointment
I have used this program since it was invented and do about 20 returns for family and colleagues at no cost to them. Every year I am more and more disappointed with the areas of the program once the tax returns are completed. It is just useless, self serving nonsense and blatant additional commercialization!
