Don't waste your money
I have purchased turbo tax standard since it first came out and love it! I decided to upgrade to the premier thinking it would help manage my investments. What a waste of money, it is the same program only double the money!

Worst Purchase Ever
easy step program did not ask for charitable donation. No explanation that schedule not required for medical travel, not asked for in easy step. Time consuming. Took about 10 hours to complete tax return instead of 1 hour. Very frustrating program.

I have a Desk PC and a Mac Lap. Cd only works in PC. Come on Turbotax join the next millenium.

Netfile joke
Works well but no valid reason for not allowing me to netfile. Error code and no resolution without go through hastle of calling.

Archaic, dispaly system is from the 90's.
No contextual checking of inputs.
Is simply a CRA form in electronic format with all the logical inconsistencies of the CRA form retained

I am not familiar with accounting and found a number of things to be quite vague. You should want people at the start of the returns that they should keep track of problems so they can be related to you (unless of course you are only doing this rating to keep me happy).

Your print on the interview is too small amd one should be able to increase the same for better reading.
It would be good Idea to bring the info and anaswer on the forms closer together, so it would be easier to relate to the questions, or draw a line in dots to the info being required, so it would be easier to follow the answer that is required. If this will be done than I can recommend your product to anyone else.

Unstable
Very unstable, I have been using this product more than two year, started last year, a lot of time when I tried to open a new file or transfer a file from previous year. the program was not allowed me to use a easy step, it kept taking me from a welcome Turbo tax screen to a new important feature screen in a circle. while you keep trying million times, at one point when you hit a same continue button from a same screen, it suddently take you to another screen so you are able to use an easy step to file your tax.
