Well worth the money
I got thru it with no problems other than when claiming rental expenses there's a columb to the right of each type of expense that says "Personal %" I figured I should put 100 as I personally paid 100% of each expenses. I was suppose to leave it at 0 though I don't know why??

Easy to USE

20 years
20 years + of using (CanTax, QuickTax Turbo Tax) and it has saved me tens of thousands of dollars. Worth every penny you spend on it.
Doing your own taxes forces you to review your finances once a year which is good for your soul and wallet. TurboTax doesn't exactly make it fun but its almost enjoyable.

A very good service.
I have used turbotax for many years, and have found this year's edition the easiest to use yet. The importation of tax documents directly from CRA was very convenient.

Easy Peasy
Once again Turbotax has made the job of submitting my, and my wife's, tax return about as painless as can be. We are now both retired with pension and investment income and the whole process was very straight forward, and the optimizations it recommended helped with refund amounts!

One small problem with the software.
The help files do not tell you why the Basic Exemption and Age Exemption totals reported on the tax form are different than what the combined totals of the numbers shown in the help file are. An explanation of this calculation is missing.

Well Designed
I have been using this software for a number of years. Some of the shortcomings of the previous versions seem to have been fixed in the new version which has improved my confidence about the application. I will continue using this in the coming years.

new additions
I like that you can amend your return directly through turbo tax (had to amend two this year- one due to additional income, one due to additional expenses) and the instant NOA allows you to see the interest charge and hopefully only make one payment.

Great product for rental properties
I have multiple rental properties and the TurboTax Premier is great for getting everything organized for filing with CRA over the web. It would be helpful to have an online version which allows for 2-3 returns at a reduced cost.

Introduction to Alphonse
Easy to use with one caveat. After I optimized our medical expenses, I decided not too do so and tried to go back and change that option. I was unable to do the change. I could not find the information to help with this. Other than that, it was well worth purchasing and using the software.
