Trouble-free taxtime

So Easy
TurboTax is by far the easiest tax program out there that I've ever used. It basically holds your hand throughout the entire process. I used to do taxes at a large Tax company that you'd see commercials for on tv. This is honestly easier to use. Absolutely recommend.

Another painless tax cycle
I have used Turbo Tax for years and years ... I find the question and answer format that guides me through my particular siutation and presents the forms I need to fill in extremely useful and a huge time saver. A recent newpspaer article commented on how the CRA tax forms are so difficult to comprehend but Turbo Tax has spared me all of that grief. Great product!

Good software
Premier price is little bit higher than what we expected. Or if more users can share with premier is another good choice. I used standard version for several years. Now we have a rental property, we have to choose primer. It doesn't mean we earn more because we have a rental property. So we don't want to pay too much more for the premier.

How to improve downloads
The downloads of T'5, T'3 and stocks sold from CRA are only available to one person's tax return, even if the information is for a joint account. There should be a method to chose which return will receive the information. As it stands, you either accept all the information into a single return and someone pays too much tax, or you must delete portions of information and manually enter into your partner's account. Lots of time, work and potential for entry errors.

Tax Prep Made Easy

Random Crashes
Great product, especially where you can download all you T-slips from CRA. Program crashed a few times with no explanation. Had to start from scratch after the first time.

Best Purchase Ever
TurboTax has been an excellent tool for me to help complete the taxes of my family and friends. It is easy to navigate and at the end of the day I know I will be sending the correct information to the CRA for my assessment. Choosing Netfile; which is integrated into TurboTax allows me to receive my tax refund within 10 business days. Strongly Recommended!

Improve T5008 Entries
Downloading all forms from CRA was great. However, it would be better if TurboTax made a clear notice that the T5008 downloads from CRA don't download any book values and these must be manually entered by the user.

I had to do a mutual fund and the Stndrd
version did not have the in depth explanation
