Great tax software
Easy to use....make sure you save occasionally, as this year I had input for about 2.5 hours and then went online to try and get some community help and it was just spinning and not bringing up info....then I ended up closing out and all information for the last two hours-3hours was lost!

Great program
Love the program for preparing taxes. As an accountant, I spent decades reading through the manuals, tax act and forms. This program gives me confidence that my returns are correct, and saves me so much time.

Currency Conversion
It would make the entire process of entering international transactions so much easier if there was a way to incorporate currency conversions automatically in the tax form. As it stands now all convesions have to be done manually.

Easy, but
The software really wants you to use the "easy step" method and for most that is quite right. For those with more comfort with taxes the "forms" method is preferable but the 2017 version made it awkward to use this method (especially with instalments)

Highly Recommended
This was the first year I prepared my own tax return and I was a little apprehensive because although my return is somewhat straightforward there are a few complicated pieces. This software made it very easy! Great user interface and friendly approach. The software does not replace your common sense or some basic tax knowledge so some investigation or research on your part when completing your return may be necessary although the Help feature and the hyperlinks (blue text words throughout the program) helps. I suggest printing out a draft copy when done before filing and review carefully - I did this and better understood what my return was all about along with catching a couple minor errors I did. Filing was a breeze.

2017 TT Premier
Bought this version to help with investment capital gains & foreign property reporting in 2017. In the past, I have normally just bought the basic version of TT. It worked ok, but had to create a couple of MS Excel files to organize and calculate adjusted cost base figures and to report on foreign property activity in which to support TT info. Overall I am very pleased with the software. I have been using it for more than eight years now. My family uses the multiple licenses that come with the software.

Super easy to use
I used Turbo tax basic last year and it was fine; fairly easy, fairly straightforward. Last year i also used the Pro-review since i wasn't sure and i found that really helpful. The person i talked to in the review suggested Turbo Tax premier for my situation so i tried it this year and it was awesome! It was easy to use and easy to understand. I'll use premier again next year

Confident Taxes Prepared Properly
This is the 4th year that I have used the Premier package and after completing felt fully confident that my taxes were prepared accurately.
Tools are great to help those who are not professional tax preparers and provide all the opportunities to verify what has been entered.
