Strait Forward
I have used this software or its previous versions since it was first introduced and I like it. I like the logical flow in the steps. I do my return and my wife's return at the same time so I like the optimizers. I cannot imagine trying to optimize the deductions by hand! I really, really like the product.

TurboTax Premier 2017
I initially purchased the Standard Edition but during the process of filling out our returns, it was recommended that the Premier edition was necessary because of investment expenses. I just upgraded on the sppot without question but it seems like the Standard edition should include these. Anyway, I appreciated the interface with the CRA site which automatically download the information slips details directly into the tax forms. Great feature!

length of use
I first started using this software in 1999 when it was called "Home Tax" and have used it as "Quick Tax" and "Turbo Tax" ever since with one year as an exception. Big Mistake! Even a complete novice can use this software.
Try it you will not be disappointed!

Love this program
I've been using this program for years and as long as they don't make drastic changes, I will continue to use it for many more. Easy enough for someone with limited tax experience to navigate.

Optimizers are Great
I used TurboTax Premier, and really found the optimizers useful for medical receipts, charitable donations, and pension splitting. I also appreciated the CPP optimizer to check the optimum age to start benefits. Also, glad you made it possible to increase font size, (in past versions, the font was too small and could not be increased).

Printing
Although a very good product, I had problems with the printing of the final product. The Tax software expect you to use Adobe software as well for this function. Certain parts expected to interface with TurboTax however some software was not available. Error code 1706.

Very helpful
I had a tougher-than-normal tax year with a separation involved, but TurboTax made this very simple. I leveraged their Pro Review service and they were extremely helpful. Great product all around!

turbo tax review
Turbo tax made filing my two tax reports(wife and I) very easy. I spent a couple of hours gathering up information slips before I started which greatly reduces time filling out the various forms. I felt the help menus were very well prepared and and provided lots of essential information. Great program!

Always Reliable and easy
We have been using TurboTax and its predecessors for many many years. It is easy to use and simple to understand.
Only thing I would add is ALL the fields from the 5013 forms so it is easier for a senior to understand and make decisions.

Tried the other came back to TurboTax

Near the end of the program Turbo Tax asks the question; "do you want to start and online account?" The problem I found is that I already have an online account but there is no provision for responding that I already have an online account

Awesome as always
Easy to use, especially since I use TurboTax/QuickTax year after year. Filed for my family members easily. Mine is very complicated because of the 2 different rental properties, where the hardest parts is actually properly tallying up all the numbers before entering into the TurboTax. Great big refund this year as I can apply some of my loss from previous year, which TurboTax keeps track of.
