Continues to work great!
This software is so easy to use and now with the automatic download of forms like T4s, etc you can get your taxes done with way less keystrokes and quicker. A great upgrade by the folks at Intuit!

Wouldn't do my taxes any other way!
Turbotax has allowed me to successfully file returns for my whole family for many years. I can't imagine doing them any other way. There is somewhat of a learning curve in the beginning but if you follow the steps carefully and read thoroughly when doing the profile, it is pretty easy.
Make use of 'Help' when you aren't sure.

Down load CRA info has a glitch ..... couldn't download spouse's info. Was able to download mine OK - saved a lot of data entry!

A Home Run for Turbotax 2016!
I'm a former RRSP Administrator, and as such, have been using Turbo Tax since the dawn of the 21st Century. It's now semi-intuitive, and I navigate the Easy Step version all the way to the good part, the savings.

Turbo Tax makes it so easy to file your taxes. They have different packages for different situations. It steps you through it easily and is not hard to understand or return back and forth to your return. Also makes filing it so easy and quick.

Quite a price differential just to report stock and bank interest info.
Two boxes on T5013 couldn't be matched to Turbotax so I had to be inventive entering the info elsewhere. Hope that works with CRA.

Best TurboTax Yet
For the average person, this is going to be the most painless way to get taxes completed. It will be slightly more work if you have a complicated situation, but a lot of clutter from the past has been hidden, so it should be very streamlined for most.

Good guidance
Overall an easy program to use except in rental co-owned properties. It took me some time to understand why my expenses were not reflecting a 50 % ownership deduction. There was confusion with the term personal %. This is also generated by the CCRA form but when using easy step one does not easily see the term personal does not refer to your portion of expenses but rather a portion had you used the property for personal reasons. Could be greater clarification,

use turbo tax every year
I use Turbo tax every year and I have used the Premier version because I have simple investments. I think it would be much better value for you to include a simple investment ability in the Standard version.
Also, I use an iMAC so can't host the software on my main computer which is far more secure than the Microsoft laptop I have to use basically only for this software. My whole family of about 6 or 7 people used it too.
why is that not available?
I have no comments about the detailed use or capabilities as they seem to work very well especially the income splitting feature.

Ease Of Filing Personal Tax Returns
I have been using Quick Tax now Turbo Tax for years. I am not too versed in Tax matters. Using this program is just great as it guides me thru the steps without stress. If I am stuck, there is an expert willing to help. Be patient when call as because they are good they are also very busy.
Great value and you can work at your own pace.
One thing to fix, is to allow you to update the return once assessed so that carry overs and comparisons year to year are true.

One issue remains
Been using this and it's predecessors for decades. They pretty well cover every question that might arise. But for some reason they can't get the Northern Residents Deduction correct. You end up at the screen saying all deductions are in without ever being prompted to enter your NR info. You have to select the form manually and enter it that way. It should be easy since you enter what city you live in for the program to prompt for this deduction. High time this was remedied.

Easy Steps
The easy steps with the various tax tips is very informative and easy to follow.
The only recommendation I would have improved would be to add the ability to add a 50% to capital gains and losses. When filing a joint return and splitting the capital gains/losses it is necessary to complete the same information twice.
