TurboTax puts me in control!
I'm a big believer in being in control of your own finances and have been using Intuit products like Quicken and TurboTax for years to help me track everything. No one knows my finances better than I do, and TurboTax helps me cope with the annual changes to the tax system so I can claim everything I'm entitled to. Doing taxes used to be pretty stressful and take all weekend, but with TurboTax it's a lot easier and I'm done in a few hours. I do returns for the entire family, all for a lower cost than if I hired someone, yet with the peace of mind that the returns are accurate and complete. TurboTax's Review feature helps me catch errors before I file, and their Tips help me claim things I might otherwise miss. It's like having a tax expert at your side the entire way!

Easy to Use
Turbo Tax is easy to use and for coordinating amongst your immediate family returns. Some of the features are more difficult to use like capital losses from prior years. I do not like having to deal with this during the review. I think it should be part of the section dealing with capital gains.

User Friendly Tax Software
Turbo Tax provides an excellent platform to complete one's tax return easily, methodically and correctly. The feature that entices me most is the carry forward of relevant balances from year to year. Despite the complexities in our income tax system TT provides a time-tested method to cover all income and expenses fairly quickly and enter the relevant items in the return. I also like the review feature, warnings feature and various prompts that enable tax-saving techniques.
Overall an excellent software that I have used for many years and I'd like to recommend to anyone who is reasonably adept with numbers.

Best tool to do tax return
Everything is great, if the user can have the option of also download online even after they purchase the disk. My laptop had trouble reading the disk, tried to download without paying again without any success. I used another laptop to download from the disk driver

2015 ongoing improvements
I liked it that turbotax allows you to return to the page and then confirm that you are done with it. I like the more clear table-of-contents guide on the left of the easy step pages to navigate the parts - back and forth.i needed the 9Phone-) help-line to get educated on (pension) income splitting and on printing the summary before paying or filing, and on creating and experimenting with another copy of the return.

Keeps getting better
Step by step is really good and the carry over from previous years pretty good. Would be even better if we could see what numbers we put into each field from the previous year to make data entry even easier.

Easy and Comprehensive Tool
We have used Turbo Tax (and its predecessor) for more than 10 years and believe we get good value. The intuitive process for entering information whether you use EasyStep or enter directly, makes tax preparation simple and the comprehensive tools and help service are invaluable in helping us understand how the information goes together in the calculations. We would recommend this software to everyone.

Such a Great Product
TurboTax is user-friendly, accurate, and does a good job of guiding the tax-payer through the process. The only disconcerting part was at the end, when I had successfully Netfiled, and then it asked me if I wanted to Netfile using TurboTax. The text needs to be changed there, so that a person doesn't feel scared that they haven't actually Netfiled successfully.

Easy For Complicated Return
My return is complicated with several pension sources, T3, T5, stock sales, charitable donations, medical expenses, pension splitting. There would be many hours of calculations to do manually. TurboTax makes it easy.
However, I don't like the jump in price from the regular version to the Premier version

Solid Year after Year
I have used Turbo Tax for years now. I do taxes for my wife and I. We have a rental property and the help section has been a great resource for determining what I can claim. Its easy to navigate the forms and the review process helps make sure I don't miss anything.
I also use it to help my in-laws. The optimization tools help me get them the best return possible.

Great program.
Great program.
We all use Macintosh computers in our house. I have an older PC laptop I use just for this program annually. Windows XP. It's getting outdated.
It would be great if you made a Mac version again.
