Better than HR Block
I have used this software ever since my old tax accountant made mistakes 2 years in a row. It is quite comprehensive. If your return is more complicated as mine is (investments) you do need to have some background info on the taxation of some investments. Google works well but you do need some background.

turbo tax premier 2022
have used the turbo tax program for several years now. It makes doing my taxes easy. Now my kids are doing theirs. Everyone should learn and know how to do your taxes

Author income
I receive a small income from book royalties and the Public Lending Right Commission. This income can be reported as business income so that there are eligible deductions. The author royalties are reported on T5s, and the public lending right commission award on a T4A. If I download my slips from MyAccount, these T5s and the T4A go into ordinary income, not business income. I move them to business income, but when Revenue Canada reviews my tax return (Netfiled) they nearly always claim that I forgot to report the author income and they add it on to my gross income, and then I need to appeal, and I always win. It would be great if Turbotax could find a solution to this issue.

Useful Tool
I have used Turbo Tax and its predecessor Quick Tax for years. Never had an issue with CRA even though my tax situation has sometimes been complicated.

Great Product Overall
I've used this for 9 years now and every year it gets easier, mostly because I make notes about what I've done using Turbotax screenprints that I paste into Word, and a little "ToDo" list to help me ensure I've included everything I know I need to submit.

Easy and fast
I have been using Turbo tax for 8 years now. I find it easy to use and with the new feature that allows you to download the CRA slips directly into my return, the taxes are done very fast.

I purchased audit defence for myself. i entered information for myself and my wife in joint entry. At end ,before filing I expected to be asked if I wanted to buy audit defence for my wife but it didn't happen. Is she also covered?

Great Product
I have used TurboTax for years and really think it is a terrific product and easy to use.
My only question is they offer the product at a 15% discount if I download the software but I can get the software anywhere for exactly the same price so I don't know if I am actually getting a discount or not?

Reliable and Convenient

Stay away from the online edition
Tried the online edition for the first time and it was a nightmare bringing previous years info to this year. Ended up just paying another $80 and bought the CD version. Everything was great after that
