Great Software
I have been using Quicktax/TurboTax for many years and would not use any other software. It is very user friendly for the non-financial person and every year they make enhancements to it.

Makes your tax return easy
Whether you are a first time user of tax software or not, if you have not tried TurboTax, you are probably missing one of the best tax software available for years. I don't know how they did it, but from a professional view myself, it is worth the time and little money invested for TurboTax. You don't have to be a taxation expert or research a lot on taxation rules to fill your tax return. Just answer the questions accurately and the software will prepare the best return for you.

Great time saver.
A great way to do one's taxes. Eliminates errors as all calculations are done by the program. Saves time and with the review process before filing all potential errors are eliminated.

5 stars on Software 0 Stars on Checkout
I have been using Intuit for many years and keep on coming back. Simple and easy to use. Turbo Tax I would rate a perfect 5 Stars! Will sue again next year.
However this is the first time I used the Checkout addition to the Turbo Tax to make sure I did everything OK. Unfortunately I will rate this 0 Stars. The wait times are 2 hours plus, perhaps because it is the near the end of the tax season. Not sure. Lastly trying to get my refund on Checkout looks like it will be very painful! Will be a hard sell to use for next year unfortunately.

Best tax software
TurboTax is well designed and organized in logical sequence. It catches errors of entry and provides helpful advice in preparing the tax return as you go along. The reliable support gives the user confidence from beginning to end. I have been using TurboTax and its predecessor for several years. It gets better and easier to use year after year.

Well Satisfied ... Easy to Instal and operate in spite of an Old Retiree using an Old (XP) System. Keep up with the technical changes and simplicity of use. Especially the filing of Retuns with a Spouse.

TurboTax is Great!
I have been using it for many years. I like that it updates all my information from the previous year and then all you do is enter the information from all your tax slips and it does all the thinking and maximizes your return.

Easy filiing
Using TT one can file to CRA easily. And you can do it next more easily as most info are transfrred and copy from CRA through auto return my file.

Using Turbo after years of forms and pencil
Have to say, I put off using this program as I felt
I had more control over forms and pencil method.
Although, the adding and re-adding becomes a
big burn-out. With marriage, children and a few
investments, TurboTax really takes the weight
off. This program is so very patient and forgiving.
Not a glitch, not a balk... and I had it up all
day while I paced myself as a first time user,
making sure it delivered the right stuff. It
certainly did deliver. Completely exceeding
my expectations and did the job without hassle
for me the user. I certainly recommend.
5 stars!!!

Works Great
I use it every year, and it carries my information forward easily every time, saves a lot of work. Good for a relatively complex return that I would have trouble doing manually or otherwise. I trust it and will stay with it.

Awesome product
Love using TurboTax. The help is great - the online chat is wonderful. I use it for the family and it really is user friendly and teaches me a lot as I go through. There are many options to double check my work and suggestions for tax savings. The warnings allow me to check what I have done and fix it properly. All very easy to use, right from the comfort of my home.

Easy to use
This is a great product. It is easy to use and if you have used the product for several years the forms method is very simple to move around. I like the carry forward approach from year to year. The one improvement I would like to see is the ability to split gains and losses on sale of investments between spouses. Now you have to do the split manually and then copy the form. Also a little more space for gains and losses would be great. I am always running out of space.

Consistent for Six Years
Sure they update it every year, but I really like how TurboTax has remained reasonably consistent for all of the six years I have used it. Unlike most other software companies, they don't seem obsessed with changing things just for the sake of changing them.
That said, this year, the NETFILE process is SUPER simple, VERY smooth. I think this is more thanks to CRA than TurboTax, but still, well done!

Like TT Overall, But
I really don't like something you are doing.
I want clean copies for MY records. Problem is that it seems to be inevitable, in todays world, that everything must be pulled down to the lowest common denominator. If someone sends it in to CRA by mistake that's their mistake. Let them deal with it.
Please remove DUPLICATE - DO NOT SEND IN MAIL notes from being printed all over my pages.
The pages you for CRA Mailing don't have all that I would like included in my copy.
At least if you feel you must protect the masses from themselves, then just print DUPLICATE FOR YOUR RECORDS - NOT FOR MAIL after the SIN at the top of the page. At least then the files are clean and a warning is still provided.
Food for thought.

Much improved
I haven't used any other electronic tax calculator and filer, so no basis for comparison. Over the years TurboTax has become much simpler and user friendly, with extra features. The only frustration I had this year was the slowness of loading the program. I used a CD, so maybe the download from the internet would be better.

Getting easier every year!
This is the easiest TurboTax I have ever used. From transferring data from last year to such a direct approach it only took us 1 1/2 hours for two returns from start to finish. Have used it for five years and it gets easier every year. By the way - we are 75 and 78 years old!
