This year the netfile process has been greatly improved and should be much more efficient than prior years for newby users. Superb improvements!

Helping Family
Used to do 7-8 returns a year manually to help children and their spouses. With Turbo Tax the time required has been reduced significantly and I do not have to check my calculations for errors.

Dedicated user of TurboTax
I have used TurboTax for at least 10 years and find it an excellent way to complete my wife and my taxes each year while staying up to date with changes in the tax regulations. The optimization features for pensions and charitable donations has been particularly helpful since we retired a few years ago.

An old guy likes this!
First time not sharpening pencils to complete several returns for the family. Once I got the hang of how this program works, jumping back and forth between forms, etc., I like it! Had to upgrade though, to be able to use the complete range of forms needed. Make sure you know which version you need up front.

Long Time User
I've been using this product line since it was called WinTax, then through the QuickTax years, and now TurboTax. I have never had any issues with the program, its contents of the accuracy of its calculations. I will continue to recommend this to everyone and to use it myself.

Good purchase
I have been using the tax program as TurboTax since it was renamed, but prior to that I have used the tax program as QuickTax since its inception. I have been very satisfied with the program, and now with improvements every year, it is easier to use. Excellent.

Fast and Easy
Completed the income taxes returns for our family of three so quickly and easily. Been using program for years and upgraded to the "suite" program this year as I had self-employed income in addition to regular employed income. Turbo Tax walked me right through it, and if anything is unclear the "Help" function is there.

I've used it for years.
I've been using Turbo/Quick Tax for over 10 years and I wouldn't do my family's taxes any other way. By bringing forward last years return, most of the personal information and tax information is already there. This makes keeping track of RRSP limits, capital gains, depreciation year after year very straight forward.

I have used Turbo Tax for several years and it has always provided an easy straightforward way to deal with all of the family taxes. Being able to flip between easy step and form view allows me to cover every situation. The tips are very helpful.

Easier to use this year

Warnings
As a first time user of TurboTax Premium, I found it generally easy to use, however I had some problem with getting through the Carrying charges and interest paid to acheive investments segment WARNINGS reviews. Also, it was not apparent that the Ontario Tax Credit for Household energy costs only applies to Seniors living on First Nations "Reserves"

Basically solid
During the Netfile process it finds a mismatch on the Interest calculations, which it says must match. The consensus is that this is a bug and should be ignored. This is dues to a T5 box 15 Foreign income amount.
I ignored it and it went thru.
Other than that, a solid piece of software.

Friendly tax guide

Quicktax is a no brainer
this eliminates any transcription and addition errors. Just enter your slip information, answer the questions and you are done (including electronic filing!!)
Following years are even easier as a lot of the information is already filled in.
I find that this also provides peace of mind in that the easy step interviews help ensure that you have made all of the proper disclosures and haven't inadvertently forgotten anything..

Best Purchase Ever
I have used Quick Tax/Turbo Tax since 1998. It takes the guess work out of figuring it out on paper. You enter your numbers and it does the rest. It really is the 'Best Purchase Ever'. I did taxes manually for years and using Turbo Tax saves you a lot of time, especially since we have a rental property. I recommended it to my sister/brother-in-law for years as they always went to an accountant. They live in another province. They finally bought the program for the first time last year.
