Well worth the money!
I used to use an accountant but doing my taxes is easier using Turbotax Premier with less errors.
Love the help screens being directly tied to what you are working on.

Capital Gains
There are some code numbers on the T5008 slips like PDI. I could not find any info on CRA website or TurboTax to explain what they meant and how that impacted Capital Gains.

Ease of use
I have used Turbotax even before it became Turbotax I have always found it to be easy to use I especially like the ability of moving between Easy step and forms I now use easy step because as I am now in my 70s My memory is not what it used to be and I know that Turbotax will not let me miss anything I have recommended it to family and friends over the years

Easy to use needs better support
I've been using TurboTax for many years with no issues. BUT for the last two years in a row on my desktop I have NOT been able to use the program. My Desktop will not accept a new license code. This year I was on with tech support for over three hours one evening. They could not figure it out. Sent them some file info off my computer and they were suppose to call back the next day. Next day hasn't came yet, still waiting. Deadline came, had to do it on another computer.

Ease personified!
I have been using turbotax for over ten years now and am absolutely amazed at how easy it is... and I have a complicated tax return!
intuit has thought of everything and its turbotax software is always up to date with the latest tax legislation and twists and turns.

TurboTax helps to file taxes but mistakes can be made from misinterpreting or not fully understanding the questions. Financial advice may still be required for more involved and complex situations.

Improvements needed
Could definitely improve the ease of use by allowing % attribution to individuals on the spousal returns for the capital disposition of stocks etc similar to the % attribution on T- slips input page.
When printing return for file far too much paper is wasted on blank forms and CRA instructions which do not add value.

Great Way to do your taxes
For most people the easy step is just fine. I use the forms method. Still takes a while to enter all info but better than doing this on paper.

Great Tax Software
This is the product I choose for the family taxes year after year.
I believe the Live Community portal had some shortcomings this year.
I believe in the past when you presented a tax question to the community you normally got a response in the short term from an individual who appeared to have the correct response.

Good program - need more flexibility on T1135
Overall excellent and easy to use. My only complaint is that the T1135 Form for Detailed Method Section 7 needs to allow for more than 3 lines to be completed. It should jump to an addendum for additional lines to be completed.

COMPUTERS
Premier Edition download allows 12 returns over 25 k. BUT, you can only have the program on 3 computers. Not right

Still the best
I started using CanTax years ago and it eventually became TurboTax. I count on it each year to remember my details from the previous year, recommend ways to save taxes, and complete the process with the least frustration possible. Again, this year it did all of that and I am ecstatic to be done with taxes for now.

Best buy ever
Turbo tax is really good. It can save you time, money and ensures accuracy. Its an easy program to use when you get used to it. Use the easy method and it will be done correctly and take the guess work out of play.

Download better than Web-based version
I do not recommend the web-based version as once you use it you will only have pdf copies of past returns on your PC (rather than the .ttxx files) so it is difficult to convert back to the downloaded version. Plus the web version does not make it easy to find many forms.

wisest purchase
we have to file in Canada and the United States, and so we buy Turbo Tax for both countries. Without it, filing our taxes would be impossible. We used Turbo Tax for over 20 years in the US and have used both it and the Canada version for the last 7 tax years
