Long Time User
Have used this product for years. Manual effort becomes less and less with each passing year.
Only knock is insistance to push medical expenses to lower income. In our case, it is more advantageous to claim medical expenses against higher income as lower income individual does not pay any taxes however income is too high to utilize spousal claim.

Excellent Investment
Over the course of more than 15 years, I have found this iteration of the program and its' predecessors to be comprehensive and easy to use. The interview feature and ease of navigation are excellent for novice and veteran filers alike. Very good for business owners, as well. I feel the progam has shown consistent improvement.

Very easy to use.
This is the first year I had to tackle Capital Gains and Losses as they apply to mutual funds where you had to figure out Adjusted Cost Base (ACB) for a cashed in Mutual fund. Over the years earnings were used to buy additional fund units four times per year as long as I owned them and each purchase changed the ACB. Most explanations of ACB used property purchases as examples but I found an example in Turbo for Mutual funds exactly like I had. It will still be alot of work unless I can figure out how to program Excel worksheet to do the calculations as I put in the figures....four times per year for as long as I owned the funds....but at least it explained exactly how to calculate it. I have used Turbo or Quicktax for many years and it really makes doing taxes easy..just punch in the numbers where it tells you to.

I rely on TurboTax every year
I rely on TurboTax every year to do my taxes, and in previous years I have used TurboTax or its predecessor, QuickTax, to complete tax returns for myself and for other family members. I wouldn't try doing my taxes any other way. TurboTax makes things so much easer for me. I love EasyStep, how things get carried over from year to year, and the HELP explanations/additional information. Yeah, TurboTax!

Excellent Value Program
I have used Turbo tax for many years. I have seen other programs but find it the best, probably because of familiarity. I find the number of family returns I can file makes the program very good value. I use the tables format all the time. It would be nice if they had a Macintosh version of the program again because I have Apple computer equipment but I have managed with Boot Camp and the PC version for many years.

Great support! Not so hot on the CHAT
I couldn't installed my Turbo tax from the CD - my computer would crash!
I contacted customer service via email and they sent me a link for me to downloaded from the web. I then entered my key and bingo, I was on my way!

TURBO TAX PREMIER 2012
I am extremely happy with this product although I would like to see a program for tax preparers that prepare returns in their home that would allow them to do unlimited returns. Otherwise, this is the best program I have used. I have used the program for at least 5 years now.
