Great Tool
Turbo Tax is a great tool for preparing your taxes on your own. The easy step method does just that, makes it easy, to file your taxes. Even if it seems to be a complicated process before you begin. The 1 on 1 phone help is also great if you have any questions (i.e. renal property claims). I recommend this product and have been using it for the past five years.

Areas that might be improved.
The method to imput stock transactions is excellent. Could the same format not be used for medical bills if you have many. If you only enter the total the medical optimizer is of no use. Having made that recommendation I believe the improvements you have made over the years is excellent. I very satisfied long term customer.

TurboTax needs to offer Macintosh software that is not online. It is a shame that this has not been done yet. I have been using TurboTax for nearly 10 years and each year I lug my old PC up from my basement just to do my personal, family and friend's income tax. Purchasing online to file with my Mac is far too expensive. Please give us Macintosh users some consideration too.

I have been using Turbo Tax since it was Quick Tax. I started using the programs back in 1994 or 95, This year the program is the easiest program I have ever found, it makes doing taxes a breeze. I will continue to use Turbo Tax in the future.

First Time User - Sold!!!
I used to do our tax returns manually and TeleFile them. A few years ago, I had a health crisis and began using a tax professional. We acquired an income property making it more expensive to have someone do our taxes. I have recovered to a point where I felt I could resume preparing our returns. I bought TurboTax Premier (because of the rental property). I actually enjoyed using the software (gathering up the documentation, not so much). I will definitely be using TurboTax from here out. Thanks !!!

User-friendly program
I have been using TurboTax for over five years and have never had any tax information issue that has stumped me - there is always user-friendly information to get you to the information that is required to be entered. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

Helpful Guidance
The "easy step" process is very thorough and truly easy to use. Importing prior year info and doing a Spousal Return congruently is quick and efficient.
The online chat was very helpful in answereing questions not already answered in the sidebar forum.
The software has undergone overall improvements year-over-year. I especially noted improvements in dealing with T-3 investments and applying Loss Carry Forward.

TurboTax Premier a Fantastic Product
For 2012 Taxation Year I decided to use a software product for the first time to complete returns for both myself and my wife. I have pension income which I wanted to split, as well as capital gains income which is in both names. My wife has income from employment. Using TurboTax Premier made the usually unpleasant task of return preparation a very simple process of answering some basic questions and filling in the blanks. The software contains a number of checks and balances which help to ensure that nothing is missed. It also contains a number of Optimizers which take maximum advantage of a variety of income-splitting options. I do not believe I would have been able to complete the returns in as timely or accurate manner without the use of TurboTax. I will never go back to manually preparing the returns for my wife and I again.

Getting it Done
Members of my family & I have used Turbo Tax for approximately 5 years now.
I find Turbo simple to use. It guides me through any questions I might have. The program updates on a regular basis so you know you are getting all the up to date information. If you take the time to read the information you will have no problems.

Easiest Way to get the most money
I have used the Big tax preparers before and you either pay a lot of money for them to do it for you or you pay a lot for you to get your money sooner. Turbo Tax is the best of both worlds, pay a little and get the most. Easy to use and quick to complete. For the past 10 years I have used TurboTax and have never looked back.
