TurboTax
Being an excellent program to do the income tax, I do have one big issue about it. I have used it every year and to make things easier for me, I just except the download , when income tax time comes . I received an email to say that if I purchase the TurboTax on line, I will receive a percentage off, (which I do) however, this time I have decided to check the stores that sell the same, only to be surprised that , I could have purchased the same thing for 10 bucks cheaper. Hmmm, even the government likes to take a piece of you on line. Very disappointed in that manner.

turbo tax
Until I updated the turbotax, I was unable to netfile my return, you need to tell people that this must be completed before one files.

Easier than I thought
This was my first attempt at preparing my taxes in about twenty years and TurboTax program made it very easy. I will definitely use this tax program again next year.

Tax Time Made Easy
I really enjoy using Turbo tax, it does all the calculations for you. I really like that it will calculate the best refund for you, all you have to do is choose which action you want. Step by step Turbo tax takes you through each section. I really like that I can do all the family members who live in my house with the same program. Yes, Turbo Tax makes tax time quick and easy!

So Worth the money
I found this product worth every cent that I paid. It has all of the proper instructions, and they are easy to follow. They also help you get all of the deductions that you are allowed.

Great Software if you ignore all the ads
TurboTax really does make it very easy to file your return and get your income taxes done. This year more than ever though, the software is filled with ads for additional features, other versions of TurboTax, and other offers every step of the way, which I found very intrusive and annoying. Skipping them all still leaves you with some very solid software though.

Some crashing this year
On a few occasions my Turbo tax has had to shut down and send an error report. I hope my tax return is still accurate.

good but....
Good but the upselling to their live tax advice gets a little old especially when you save the forms and come back to the forms at a later date. How about the option at the beginning to either opt in or out and leave it at that until next year?

Good value
Good value at the Costco sale price. I guess? that I filed with Revenue Canada in the last step! Not 100% sure??? Assume that's what the confirmation number meant.Sure different than having to access the Revenue Canada site to file like last year. A lot better - assuming that I actually did file. Even though they seem to ask redundant questions that you have already answered one or more times before, I will consider using it again next year.

Turbotax
A bit more advertising of Intuit products than in past years. A bit distracting when the only thing you're here for, is to file your INCOME TAXES to the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT using a product THAT I PAID FOR AND DON'T EXPECT TO RECEIVE ADVERTISING DURING THE USE OF SAID PRODUCT.
Otherwise I liked the ease of use, especially the fully automated Netfile at the end.

Good, dependable software
I would've given the product 5/5 stars if a few of the sentances in the EasyWizard were slightly modified to provide more clarity of the questions being asked.
But all-in-all it's a good & dependable product to use for tax returns.

Comment on optimizing medical expenses.
Great overall, but I wish the medical expense optimization saved your last year medical expense entries and if not claimed last year, optimized both last year's previously entered, and the current year's recently entered medical expenses to determine the optimum 12 month window. Why do we have to enter them twice?
