Easy to use program
This program is easy to use and helps those who aren't familiar with the tax process. It informs you of possible deductions, lets you know when there's an error, and helps you calculate RRSP contributions vs deductions.

Medical Expense optimiser fail
optimizing who should claim medical expenses between spouses failed. Suggested spouse removed over $600 from total refund. Manually over-rode the suggested spouse.

a bit confusing
The section for listing employment expenses is confusing to follow - not sure about what totals to input with or without taxes etc.
Otherwise, straight-forward and easy to us.

Tax Completion the easy way
Whether a beginner or someone with tax knowledge, the software guides you through easily but allows you to manually edit where you want. Reduced my stress at tax time greatly! Will be using TurboTax again in 2015.

2013 turbo tax program
I have used Turbo Tax for a number of years and have found the program very easy to use. There was one flaw in the program this year that was annoying. If I tried to save the return while working within the return (file - save) this function would not work on my computer. (It worked the first time but not anytime afterwards.) The only way I could save the return was by closing down the return and re-opening it. Hope this is fixed for next year.

EASY, really easy
The program is great! I do not like the chat thing on the side of the program - it is distracting. We should have the option of "X" it out. Otherwise the easy steps are very easy to get through

Good Product
It is good for catching accidental errors. Make sure you spend time checking EVERY applicable box in the interview if you want to get the greatest benefit, and return, from it.

Like the old version better
Love your software. Definitely the most intuitive to use however I much prefer your older version from a few years ago. The steps in this software seem more tedious than previous version.

Well worth the time
This is my second year using TurboTax and I will never go back to having one of those so called "tax experts" do my taxes and charge me a ridiculous amount of money to essentially type my information into a computer. Not only do I now understand my taxes way better, but I have found out about new ways to save money, ways that my "tax experts" never mentioned. The TurboTax software is very easy to use, it walks you through the process step by step. It could be a little easier to navigate though. Every section should be subdivided into subsections so that you could navigate quickly back and forth without having to wade through the whole section again.

Works For Me
I have used this Tax Program for years and I don't think it gets much easier than this. I had no trouble filling out all that was required. I used Net File and that was even easier. I am now done!!

Easy to Use
Overall was quick and easy to use. Only problem found was when prompted to Netfile or not Netfile, the program would not let me select Netfile now. I ended up printing off all the papers to mail, for a refund amound of $3.00.

Handy FAQ

Visually Impaired User
3 Year in a row I have used this program for my wife and I. Thankful to do it at home at a low cost.
However I use Zoomtext (Screen reader and Magnification software) and it is not compatible with Turbo Tax. Had to magnify and change the font colour to complete pages because the reader would not acknowledge the pages. In our Terms "NOT User Friendly for Blind and Visually Impaired."
Would be helpful if the reader was able to read the pages and hints placed throughout.
Has taken me between 4 - 5 hours to file 2 returns each year.
Some difficulty correcting warnings. Always reviewed pages yet warning still comes up. Creates concern for missed information or inaccuracies.
Even with difficulties would use it again.
