Usage
Have used this program pretty much since inception. Have found it relatively easy to use, I use the forms method vs easy step, and it has been accurate.

I'm a repeat customer, we have basic returns, T-Slips and some investments slips. I like that it does both claims together and shows the refund/owing as you go through the program. Have never had an issue with CRA and filing.

GREAT VALUE!
Excellent on almost all aspects, but 2 points:
1. The OS requirements were needed to be much more obvious on the package.(I missed that till installation!)
2. The clickable "continue" blue icon was skipping some pages, but no worries! you still can access all pages through the index column on the left of your screen.

I like it!
By and large. Turbotax is easy to use and does the job. Even though I have a fairly complex situation with mutual funds, stocks and gifts in kind that need special forms, TT Standard does the job by letting me get into the actual forms when needed. There are a couple of glitches and sometimes it confuses me - for example, right after I netfiled, and pressed "Continue" it says something like, You are ready to file" which I just did. But over all it's easy to use. This is my 7th year using it.

If I Can Do It So Can You

Always great guidance
My spouse and I have used TT for many years now. The integration with CRA is fantastic. I also use it to complete returns for other family members. Even though my spouse doesn't have a direct CRA account but only a Service Canada account, I can login in to CRA for my spouse through her SC account and then launch CRA from TT and it will connect and download the needed T-slips or NOA at the end. Especially nice to switch between the Easy Steps and the returns/forms to see how and where any given item gets placed. All good.

Couple of Minor Issues
Overall I find TurboTax very helpful. I am mystified at the review phase when told I didn't fill in a certain field as either I had filled it or I am taken to a page that I hadn't seen before even though I use the Easy Step. Also every year I have to register my email to the CRA even though I have had a MY Service Canada account for years. Can't we have an already registered option.

Easy to Use
Turbo tax is a good program, great for anyone with all the different versions available. It is getting better every year, like the import features from the CRA and the easier netfile process. Keep up the good work. Makes doing the taxes not as scary as they used to be.

Good Software
Overall, a Good tool.
But still there is something I've been complaining for years:
When there is a check box and in that line there is LINK to explain that line, If you click the link it will check (or uncheck) the box.
If you don't see it, it will carry the wrong answer and cause problems afterward.

Great Program
I have used TurboTax for a number of years. It makes doing taxes easy! I love the helpful prompts and questions that get you started to a quick return that takes no time at all. I will continue to use TurboTax as long as they continue to offer the program.

Great Product
I have used Turbotax from its inception, and each year I find improvements that I had not expected. Right away I appreciated the ability to improve the print contrast. The ability to adjust the print size up or down at will was very useful, especially since I wanted the print larger for entering data, and smaller when I wanted to review the completed data without scrolling. My only regret this year was my inability to access "My Account" because I was filing on a day that did not match my birth month!

Easy to use
I have always done my own taxes even when it was with: first pencil and file copy then again with pen and filed copy. Using this software made it MUCH easier to fill it in, auto calculated and refer to form guides and line item guides whenever needed (every year that is needed to get some nuance of some item). Prior to using this software, I often had to order an extra guide to help with my investment and capital gains entries. Having that info readily available in the software is far better.
