Some difficculties
1. The return to prior pages is cumbersome. It would have saved me a lot of time if I was given a detailed list of screens to choose from rather than having to page through the entire section.
2. Why were you using the double negative - do you not want to do something yes no
3. I needed to print out form T1135 to file separately and had to print the entire filing package to get a fileable form.

More Attention to Detail is needed
As a general tax preparer this product is good. However, there are places in it that refer to forms and "buttons" that don't appear to exist. The programmers need to read each line of code and then do a complete job of testing the software before it is put on the market. Perhaps using a retired person as a tester would help rectify some of the missing parts in the program

Great Tax product.
Have use the product for years. Started with WinTax then renamed QuickTax and now TurboTax.
Off all the names QuickTax was the best and was different than the US product name.

2012 turbo tax
This product is relatively easy to use but must say I found previous years easier to use. I preferred the ease of movement between the joint filing pages. Otherwise a good product.

Good Product Except for Font Style
I have used this product for several years because it is fairly easy to use and saves me an incredible amount of time compared to doing it manually.
However, I wish you would use a darker font on your screens. I find the light gray font on a white background (and sometimes on a blue background which is even worse) very hard to read, Why not use a much darker font? Black springs to mind.

Easy step guides you through the program. You answer questions that relate to you, then enter the T-slips. At the end the program lets you know if you have entered info correctly using warnings. I've used the programs for several years, and will in the future.

Its a hit
Don't delay, use Turbo Tax today. If you want great online help, condensed information to get you money back in a timely manner, then Turbo Tax is the way to go. I have been using it for many years now and I have nothing but praise for the wonderful job it has done for me. You too will be very pleased.

Fasy, Simple, Easy as Pie
This program is a breeze to use. Everything, and I DO mean EVERYTHING, is done for you. Even if you use "Easy Steps" and then switch over to "Forms", EVERYTHING is done, calculated and filled in. The only criticism I have is that when you want to "Print" your return for your own records you have to print out pages and pages that have no values entered into them. You get 17 pages of material when only maybe 12 of them are relevant. Otherwise --- GREAT PROGRAM!!!

Tax info entry woes
The problem is the complexity of the tax form itself. If you make a mistake typing in some info. (using Easy Step) you then have a difficult time finding out how to edit that entry (for example if you left out one box of info. on a T3 slip). You have to search through the tax form to find the line where the information is entered and then double click on the entry to edit it to get back to the entry stage to correct the data entry. If you are not familiar with tax form layout, this can be time consuming. Needless to say poor typing is always a problem.

Good value - some difficulties
overall a good helpful program. One problem encountered was with the "Flags" warning. Kept coming up during reviews with a comment to select the "Flags" icon at the top of the page, but there was no flags icon at the top of the page ! Not sure what that is all about. Just kept going through the review and submission process and everything seemed to work ok.

How to Improve
You really need to increase the font size of your text. Also you need to change the colurs to provide greater contrast. The light blue and the grey are very difficult to read when the font size is so small. I admit that I am getting older and perhaps my glasses need to be strenghtened but I shouldn't have to be within 18 inches of the screen to read it. Lots of the people who buy your prduct are in the baby boomer group. We all have diminishing eyesight. I looked in view and tools to see if I could improve it but there were no options available to me.

Good Program
