Tax made easy
I have used Turbo Tax for several years and it makes an otherwise pain in the butt job easy. I hate doing my taxes every year, but Turbo Tax at least makes it bearable.

Turbo Tax Standard
Found Turbo tax helpful this year as my daughter moved provinces and there are many different tax credits available and not available. Also started my own business so I can claim more.

Good Purchase

This is the first time I have done my own return. A friend of mine suggested I try it as I usually spend the same amount ,if not more, on having my return done for me. It was simple, they walked you through each step. I am so proud to have been able to this myself....

Good Way to Go
Turbo Tax is a really good product... simple to use and easy to follow with either the "easy step" method or choosing your own forms. The "help" screens are pretty good as well and give you options when you type in the topic or question. I'll keep using it!!

I BUY EVERY YEAR
I buy this product every year - most helpful feature is that by importing the file from the previous year's I don't have to re-enter any personal information, and many amounts are forwarded automatically, so I don't need to find them to enter in the new year's forms.

TurboTax Standard
Easy enough for anyone with minimal computer skills to use and file on their own. The repetitive "warnings" (which rarely are applicable and aren't actual red-flag warnings) are scary, though. Once we've cleared those I wish they would stop re-appearing.

TurboTax
Have used for 4 yrs. Transfer of information from one year to the next is done with the click of my mouse. Saves time. Easy to correct errors or go back to add information. Easy to skip from one section to another. Only difficulty is when I want to Netfile. The .tax format has to be sent. Every year, it takes me a few tries to find and submit the correct file. Would definitely suggest you buy and use TurboTax.

The program is of good value. I do find the print rather small and the color is very hard to pick out when going through the process. For seniors and those with visual problems this makes for considerable eye strain while working through the program. a different color pehaps and a larger font would be of great value to those with the above mentioned conditions. these slight changes would make a world of difference to a lot of program users.

Good except for Medical
Works well for most things, except for medical expenses. Not clear how Optimizer works - does it hold previously entered medical expenses over to next Tax Year if you change the date range?
Do I need to delete them from list?
Would like to see date of expenses in screen with edit/delete function so that I can choose which to delete and save for next year.

Good to work with
One issue we faced was that in a two person file, it skipped the first one's income entries and went to the second one.
I had to restart the program again and re-enter all of the entries for the first person.

I like using turbo tax but that side bar for pop up window was distracting it took up half of my screen and i could not delete it. I would say fix that.

Lacks Payment Information
Good product overall. Use it every year. First time having to pay. TurboTax doesn't provide enough or clear information on the process of paying the taxman. If a payment is due, it needs to first tell you your options (pay at time of filing, installments, online, at bank, money order, etc.) & then you check which option you choose. Then it should direct you to proper place based on your option. I had to find the government website myself to figure out what my options were.

Awesome yet again
I have been using TurboTax since forever. Year after year, great service, easy to use, completed within minutes and Netfiled right after being checked. I prefer to do it with forms on my own and on my own time. Truly painless. See you again next year.

Be careful
This year's product was not as intuitive as prior years. I missed a few key questions and had to go back to start over. If you are not sure say yes to any question to avoid confusion later. I still highly recommend Turbotax. I know it saved me money!

Happy First-Time User
Overall I was happy with how easy it was to use TurboTax. Besides the Medical Expense Optimizer, I wish there was an optimizer for other things like Dependant Credits (I had to fiddle around with that a bit making changes back and forth between my spouse and myself to see what would work best). Also, I wish when it opened up a browser window that it would be my preferred one, FireFox, and not IE.
