This product is very helpful. The only error is that it claimed all RRSP contribtuions even though my spouse's net income was below the minimum. It should have left a message to defer the contributions to next year as they were not needed as there was no tax owed.

It doesn't automatically adjust medical expense claims so husband/wife credit or payment is optimised. ALSO, doesn't quiz me on foreign income. I found this to be very annoying.

So Simple, it's scary!
For the third year in a row, TurboTax has proved itself to me as the best product going for any canadian that wants to maximize their return... Seamless, effortless, and painless! Within a half hour in the comfort of my own rec room, I had completed mine, and my wifes returns. As it turns out, I could claim a lot more thank i expected to! Thank you turbo tax for turning this painstaking task into a care-free money maker!

Good Helpful Product
Turbo Tax is a very comprehensive and user-friendly software application. The step-by-step guidance is comfortable to use. The optimizers are key to appreciating the outcomes from using this application. A glitch in one data entry point was discovered last year, which a phoned representative was able to sort-out for me. However, the glitch still does not seem to have been removed and so last year's advice (trick the software) was applied successfully again this year.

Recommended option
On the "Print a copy for your records" selection, there should be an option to print the four (4) page T1 form only. this would eliminate printing a twenty (20) page copy with many blank or single digit entries. I still have a full copy saved on my hard drive.

I've completed the survey, no need to repeat. However, I'd like to point out an error. The
periods for the charitable receipts and medical expenses are listed as being for 2011, not 2012. I had to correct them myself. Advise that you check this.

Long-time user
I have used Turbo Tax (and Quick Tax) for several years. This is a good product that they continue to improve over time. It is also a very efficient way to get taxes done, netfiled, and to get a prompt refund! Cheers

I think there should be a feature where one can answer a few questions in the event they have forgotten their password, so they are able to retrieve it. Otherwise the program is good, fairly user friendly and worth the money.

This remains a very good tax program.
The only glitch was Intuit uses the MSN Internet browser and I use Google. There was a hangup when connecting to the CRA and your wesite. I had to retry 4 times for all three of the filings I submitted.

size of font used
As I age I find that I appreciate a larger font that is currently being used by Turbo Tax. If possible please use a larger font next and in future years.

Software Error
I was separated in 2012 and when I carried my information forward the software claimed my child deductions from 2011. This is not correct as the children do not live with me. The software should pick this up when I showed Marital Status.

We have used Turbo Tax (formerly Quick Tax) for 10 years and have always found it to be fairly easy to use. The choice of Easy Step or Forms entry is good, especially for inexperienced users. It sure beats the old method of manual entries and calculations!

Still Buggy
Every year for the past three years I have purchased TurboTax hoping that it will work properly. Every year though I come across annoying bugs. This year it kept prompting me to enter a start date for medical expenses although I clearly did not select any medical expenses in the setup part of the process. Not sure if I will be giving it another chance nezt year.

Importing info from previous years

Easy use

Printing any screen with BLUE characters does not work, as most printers do not read blue easily.

Simple to use. Familiar interface from year to year. Carry forward of basic info is a great feature. Nice not to have to do and redo calculations manually.
