Minor Problem
Overall, the software is easy to use. A big problem for me is that the print font is too small. Even with new spectacles, I have trouble reading the print. Perhaps the size could be increased, or a method devised so the user can increase the size.

Great but
This is a great product that could be perfect. Once you have used the donation optimizer for spousal returns it is difficult to override the recommendation. I had to delete all of my donations and re-enter them to avoid a Netfile override issue. Sometimes you just want to keep donations attributed to the giver. Otherwise, this product is very easy to use for even a beginner.

Got a higher return
I shopped around and tried out three or four different services before settling on TurboTax. I got 4x the amount I thought I would by using the optimization features on the software. I will continue to file with TurboTax every year!

Easy
This is extremely easy. I had no issues depite having expeses, charitable dontations and medical expeses to enter. It asked questions and guided me through each step to a very succesful end with a outstanding refund too!

Excellent Tool
Overall Rating is 4 Stars - possibly because I am accustomed to dealing with all the nitty gritty details that Turbo Tax does for me behind the scenes. Part of me is a little worried that something isn't completely right.
Otherwise - it is a great software. Regularly recommend to friends.
Under prior tax prep method I could not choose Turbo Tax. This is my 3rd year using Turbo Tax.

Good tax progrsm
I've been using many tax programs in the past . This program is for basic tax returns. It's very friendly and gives 2 ways how to prepare tax return - easy way-step by step or faster directly with forms.
Also, I would add that cost of product is afordable, even if you decide to prepare just your own tax return.

update
The only problem that, I encountered was that the Turbo Tax 2013, needed an update and slowed me down. I had no idea until, I reached the middle of my filling that the update was available.

Good but lacks clarity on some important points
In the "review" process reference is made to features of TurboTax with no link or instructions on where to find them (e.g. Optimizer). Otherwise TurboTax is very straightforward. I have used it and Quicktax since about 1996 and will contginue to do so.

Flashy Images Do Not Make Tax Prep Exciting
Works well as in past years, but most of the visual imagery is unnecessary and distracting (pretty ladies notwithstanding). Keep it simple. Or have I aged past your target demographic?

Boom!

Good product with weaknesses
Problems:
TurboTax crashed once and a lot of data was lost. Recommend to users to save often, wherever TurboTax lets you.
Recommendations for maximizing health claims are too vague. It took a lot of trial and error to determine my best strategy was to claim nothing. That should have been the recommendation in the first place.
Charitable donations return maximizer uses a sliding scale. The user should be able also to type in a specific dollar amount. The slider is not precise enough for that.

It has been very disappointing not to be able to use net-file for my file. Calling Revenue Canada is impossible. Their line is busy. Asking a question of your help system goes unanswered Many people have asked the same question and there is no answer from community. Please give better access to this service.

A little tricky, but eventually works great!
We were a bit nervous about filing with turbotax for the second year in a row, as we had made an error on our charitable donations last year. This delayed our return until the mid of August. Everything looks good for this year....waiting to see our bank balance!

Excellent Product

If I missed an entry, it can easily be added. There are also helpful warnings and optimizers which will give you tips on how to increase your refund.

I would prefer a Mac Version
Because I'm sure that TurboTax is written with HTML, it will be very easy to export it in the OSX platform. I don't know why Intuit has a problem to support Mac users. For that I stopped to use QuickBooks completely last year. If nothing happen for a version of TurboTax in the next year, I will think twice before to buy the TurboTax again.
