Super fast and easy
This is my third year using this software. It is cheap easy and fast and every step has more information so you can always find more info right on the screen.

Worth the expense

It was fairly easy to use with no great improvements over 2011.
Some directions were not easy to see immediately such as the directions telling you that your donations could be grouped rather than creating individual records for each receipt (I looked but got half way through before I found the info telling me I could group).
The same thing for Safety Deposit Box claims - not obvious.
Still it is a good tool and I would recommend TurboTax. Directions can still be improved - remember I use it only once or twice so it is new to me so clear and obvious directions are important.

Installation Problems
Installed a copy on laptop and entered license number. Program wouldn't open, despite uninstalling and reinstalling. Unfortunately can't locate license number to apply for refund. Purchased a 2nd copy which installed on my desktop computer with no problem. Will continue trying to locate license on first copy to apply for a refund. Noted that a web search indicated that others have also had a problem with program not opening. Would recommend only with proviso to be sure and keep your license number in case program won't run and you want a refund.

Demos inoperative.
Having used this software for years, I still find it works well. However, this year there are several demonstrations toward the end to help with the Netfile preparations. When attempting to view these demos, nothing came up except a screen full of asci code, or a vast array of symbols.
Fortunately I was able to File without the demos, but this needs some attention. Still an excellent aid, and would never file without it.

Fairly Easy for simple returns
Although Turbo tax is fairly easy for simple returns, editing is a bit cumbersome after initial numbers have been inputed. Also, it would be nice if when filing for spouses, the netfile could be accomplished in a single transaction.

Software is not too bad. However, when I got to "view netfile demonstration", all that showed up was a screen full of garbage. Don't know what the problem is but I'm glad I really did not need that demo.

Good Software
Easy to use software that I have no issues with.
I was a bit choked to see the "discounted" price I got by ordering automatically the previous year was 6 dollars HIGHER than what I could have purchased it for in Staples stores.
I will not be pre-ordering the material but will likely buy it in the future.

Excellent Program for filing Income Tax
I have used this program for years to file my and my husband's income tax returns. His return is pretty straight forward as he is employed with a company in our local town. I on the other hand am self employed and this program facilitates the extra forms, etc that I need to fill out. It makes the whole process easy and efficient and does all the math for me which is a huge plus.

Printing Options
I have used Turbo Tax for many years and find it relatively easy to use. This year, however, I had no Warnings, No Alerts and yet at the Final Stage I was given a RED ALERT but could not understand what the Alert was. I also do not understand why it PRINTS forms that are blank using up my valuable INK.

Not Bad..but could be better.
It could be more user friendly, but that will probably come with time (for example, N/A options could disappear). It is fairly easy to use, but you do need to read everything very closely in order to proceed.

Easier to do each year
I have been using this product for 5 years now and find every year it gets easier and easier. Although they keep the information etc up to date the step by step remains the same which is great.
My only warning is that because I have been getting it year after year they send me emails offering discounted prices- ie 10% off- yet when I accept the offer they bill me full rate and then I have to call them and get a credit for the difference. Not a big amount of money but a real hassle time and time again.

Easy to use
I love using Turbo tax it only took me a few hours to complete mine and my wifes tax returns. It is easier every year the only things I would change is when you have a very basic return to file other questions shouldn't pop up at all, Otherwise completely satisfied.

Order of filling in info
Program should tell you to fill in students info first so you know how much tuition can be transferd to the parent. This took awhile for me to figure out

Easy to use
This program was a lot easier than the program we used last year (ufile). The only problem I had with it was that it indicated I had two possible errors. When I reviewed the potential errors, there was no error but the message never went away....

Navigation a little confusing
Having used QuickTax/TurboTax for several years now, this year's version is the one that I found most difficult to use. It did not seem to take me where I expected to go on the form. But other than that, it is quite a good tool to file our returns.
