When I was ready to file, I wanted to view the demonstration of the NetFile process, but upon clicking on the link, all I received was a page full of computer language. Tried, unsuccsesfully a couple of times?

Good but a few too many steps
The interview used more steps than needed. There was too much 'Welcome to Step 1[continue], This is step 1 where we get info [continue], Now we will get you info[continue], Are you ready to continue?[continue]...'

The live tax advice is really helpful and overall the program is easy to use. I do not like how some of the advertisements in the latest version are in the way of the tax program and it makes you think that you have more to read, when it is really just advertising. Also, the scroll was often difficult to find.

My only complaint is that I got the package direct from turbo tax Intuit, and was charged more than what is available for now in the stores,therefore next year I will wait until I can buy it at a retailer. Otherwise the product is easy to use and consistant year after year.

UCCB Glitch
Had issues entering the UCCB amount, the person whose name it came in, was actually the person with the higher income. We thought that the transfer of the UCCB to the other spouse with the lower income would be easy, but it was not. Will have to correct that issue when notice of assessment is received.

Pretty user friendly
I have been using this tax program for several years...I find, for the most part it is very user friendly and the easy step feature is wonderful, as I do sometimes forget items that I can claim...the only issue that I have found this year is that I could not find a 'back button' option...and therefore found myself opening the same forms over and over...I would highly recommend this product to the novice preparer - as well as to the seasoned preparer...Biffin

There are still a few places that are ambiguous or there are terms that one is not sure about.
Each year it keeps getting better.

Great Product - Medical Expense Improvement Needed
I have been using Quick Tax and now Turbo Tax since it first became available. It has improved every year which shows that they are assessing the customers' experience and making changes.
My only issue is that they do not provide an easy way for a customer to keep track of medical expenses throughout the taxation year as they are incurred and reimbursed. This is especially a problem when you submit receipts to an insurer and may no longer have a copy in order to reconcile the expenses reimbursed or not reimbursed. It is further complicated when there is a coordination of benefits between spouses and the insurers. An ongoing speadsheet or some table that would allow the entry of expenses, reimbursement and reconciliation would greatly simplify the issue of medical expenses at tax time. This information could be transferred from year-to-year allowing the program to decide what the optimum deduction might be.
I hope that this function might be included soon.

I was a little nerrvous when I first started but the step by step instructions made it really easy. Way cheaper then getting my taxes done! I will buy TurboTax every year to do my taxes. :)

Reasonable Purchase - Not Perfect
This is my second year using Turbo Tax. I find it helpful to fill out all the forms for my school, rent, children related deductions and my husband's return too.
I find some of the questions to be unintuitive and have no idea if I am answering them correctly. However the forums for asking questions usually clear things up without too much effort.

Netfile problem
Had a bit of trouble with the address field this year even though it was pulled in from last years file. Ended up by deleting the "periods". That doesn't make much sense.

Easy
TurboTax is easy to learn and use.
It catches deductions which you might normally miss saving you $$$.
The RRSP calculator has been instrumental in our savings for retirement.
I highly recommend it for the beginner with its step by step #s, or the forms approach which I have used for the last 10 years:-)
