not really keen on the help section from whoever choses to answer a question. do not think this is an improvement over previous years, in fact i believe it is a disadvantage and confusing when looking for help/info

Annoying Delay
A simple quick mouse click to the "Continue" buttons does not work, you must remember to "click and hold" the button. It wastes a lot of my time waiting for something to happen and then I realize I didn't hold the button long enough. This delay is built into the software deliberately to "debounce" the click but is not necessary in this application. It is simply an annoyance. I remember the same problem existed last year.

Priting problem each year
I can never print the information page at the end of the report. It shows inqueue but never goes thru. I just don't understand what the problem is.

I found a snack in my locker.
Even though i did my taxes very late this year i was still confident in TurboTaxes ability to get the job done right, quick and how. They only way it could be easier is if taxes filed themselves.

Pretty Good
This is a pretty good product - it saves time, especially bringing forward data from previous years. I only encountered one programming error: on T2222 it would not allow me to enter more than one travel trip, hence I had to combine two trips onto one line. It is odd that the same T2222 would allow for two separate rows/trips on my wife's return.

Function of Basic program
I cannot use the basic TurboTax to transfer my information from last year's file even if I used TurboTax to file my tax last year. I end up buying another Standard TurboTax and cost me more than I need to spend.
Other Tax filing software always include the transfer function and cheaper.

Change Error on Info page
I found this product to be user friendly. The only thing was, when I found an error (change marital status from single to devorced) on the t1 General and I wanted to fix it, I couldn't do it. Instead, I deleted the return and started over just so I could change an error on the Info page. This is why you only get a 4 for overall rating and easy to use.

accountant not needed
As farmers, we switched to turbo tax a few years ago and we haven't looked back. The accountant was charging a fortune just to plug the numbers in for us. We were doing all the work with our farm books and turbo tax has made it easy for us to complete our tax returns on our own.

Another Tax Year Done
I use Turbotax (and it's predecesser, quicktax) every year. I also use the US version of Turbotax so I have lots of tax software experience. I am not an accountant or finance person, but definitely above average for skill level and tax complexity (two countries). I like Turbotax (both countries) because it handles the nuance of all the mundane steps but allows me to dig in when my situation demands it. This allows me to have a handle on my situation which tax "professionals" would have only after spending the hours that I have, and from paying them to do the keypunching after I do all the work of gathering the raw data out of my files, Quicken, etc. A great solution!

Need to improve Worksheet Input
It would be very helpful to be able to paste data from a spreadsheet into the worksheet template (e.g. Medical Expenses) rather than having to enter individual items in the Columnar Input Form.

Makes Tax Season Easier
I found Turbo Tax easy to use. It made doing 4 different peoples tax's alot qucker. But There was one down fall. I didn't like the way it was set up to find help. I found the live community was a waste & that the right corner used be used for to be able to find proper help quickly instead. Thanks see you next year!

Overall good and easy to use. Every year when I do the turbotax review there seems to be some change recommended by the program to lower my net tax owed (wife and self together) and it ends up being higher. This year it was who should claim medical expenses. I claimed the expenses and the software suggested my wife should claim to minimize net tax owed and it ended up being $200 higher in tax paid, I think because it put me in a higher tax bracket (luckily I compared).

Eligible Dependant Oversight
Good software. Have used it for many years.
Noticed an error that could have been costly, however.
There was no provision for importing my son's income for the eligible dependant deduction. I found it as I was reviewing the file and when I manually entered his income it dropped my return by over $2,000.
Had I gone ahead and netfiled without checking I may have been penalized for the error.

Continuously Useful
I have used Turbo Tax, or Quick Tax, since before the turn of the century except for one year and I will continue to use it every year. Even my brother and his wife who are accountants use the product. Every year I think to use Quicken to help the process even further but since the year is already several months along I do not do so. Some nomenclature is not what I would use but then the CRA uses phrases and words I would not use either. Keep up the good work.
