wow!
This is the first time I have ever done my own taxes and I can't believe how easy it was. I kept looking over and over the documents because I thought I had missed something but NOPE- it was all there. Can't wait to 'carry forward' next year! Thanks Turbotax - for saving me $$$ on paying someone else to do my return for me!

Issue with GST370 Rebate claim
When answering the questions on the screen "Union or Professional Membership Fees" the columns for the responses do not line up with the questions for my spouse. As a result I made a mistake on her 2010 return. I answered "Yes" to the question "Subject to HST?" when I meant it to be "Subject to GST?" There is an added question "Paid by employer (QC only)?" that pushes the other three questions over so that it looks like you are answering Yes to the GST question when in fact you are answering Yes to the HST question. It is the same on the 2011 program. However, I realized that there was a problem and I corrected it on this year's return.

Pretty Good Software
I would use this software again. My only constructive feedback to INTUIT would be to make it easier to navigate back through the returns - I found going back to fix things a bit tedious using the option to "take me back through the forms" and I ended up scrolling through many of the same screens over and over.

Very helpful
We have used this software for a few years now. Every section was easy to follow except for the section on moving expenses. The questions here were too generic and the selections provided for answers were limited. Other than that, we would highly recommend using Turbotax as it saves valuable time in preparing the return(s).

Donation Section needs Improvement
I finally removed the carry forward amount for 2012 but I would have liked it in there for my reminder. Impossible to changed the carry forward donation amount from 2010 from my husband to me. I want to carry forward all donations for 5 years but this program is hard to deal with. Very frustrating.
Impossible to print the "detailed tax summary".
Would like to "go back"or "go forward" more quickly. Should have those buttons at the top of the page also.

There should be a way of going thru each final return
page by page in the same order as it comes out in the printer.
This would be very helpful in going thru the current year s return on the computer screen & comparing it with the prior year s printed retun

too much checking at times
In the review, the program sometimes cautions without provocation i.e. I think I've already answered the question and yet it poses something that earlier elements would have excluded. It isn't presented as another option to consider but reads as though I've actually forgotten something. Just a bit misleading.

Continues to be a good value
TurboTax continues to be a good value.
However, I found last year's TurboTax easier to use.
There were a few times this year where I was guessing, as things were not a fully explained as I would have liked. I will continue to purchase TurboTax though, unless it becomes yet more difficult.

Quick and Easy
I waited until the last minute to do my taxes this year. With Turbo Tax I was able to finish all 5 returns for my household and still file before midnight.

wishes
- being able to use the arrow keys instead of just the tab button or mouse to navigate around a page would be helpful

Simple and Efficient
This is the second year that I have purchased TurboTax. I use it for myself, my son and my daughter-in-law. We have quite simple returns but they are even easier to do using TurboTax. This year I used the electronic filing for the first time and found it a very easy thing to do. I'll be back next year, unless taxation is abolished.

Thorough easy to use product
Turbo tax continues to cover all the bases and get all the deductions you need. I converted from paper based a few years back and originally double checked every thing. Now I am used to their system and trust the computer to get it right.
If I would change a couple of things - it is hard to go back to a spot several pages earlier, then jump back forward - it is all one page at a time going either way - or if you jump back, you 'lose your spot' on the easy steps path.
I would also like the option of printing SOME pages. Twice I have managed to run out of ink before finishing the job, and then had to reprint the whole thing wasting paper and ink!

Pleasantly surprised
Relatively straightforward. Was my first time using this product and will use it again next year. There were a few areas that could have had a little better explanation but nothing that could not be straightened out. Overall an excellent way to do your personal tax return.

2011 std quicker then paper
Easy to use for a simply return .
one part took awhile to understand, pension splitting
with spouse.
A little more clarification of who is transferring and who is receiving would help a lot.
work sheet is detailed but one can get lost easily.

Generally Easy to Use
I find this a great tool. A couple of improvements should be considered. The interview questions are a bit ambiguous for someone with a capital gain from fund distributions as well as a carried forward capital loss. If the interview questions are answered incorrectly you aren't given the opportunity to apply the loss. The program should be smart enough to recognize you have carried forward losses that can be applied to current year gains.
The program should also be able to handle combining a husband's and wife's return files from a previous year if they want to do them together after they did them separtately before.
