Consistantly Good
I've been using this product since it started as CanTax in the 1980's. It's always been easy to use, good help files, good on-line support. Didn't see the Jacks on Tax add-ins this year though.

Gets the job done
I have been using turbotax to file my family's tax returns for a couple of year. I am very familiar with the software, and it gets the job done. Nothing more to say.
One of the technical issue I would like the dev team to fix is that some of the input fields do not allow enough number of input characters, it should be simple to fix.

Great product

Font Size
My only complaint about the program would be that the font size was not optional; or at least not easy to locate the option.
Our PC is connected to our television, as I'm sure many people's are. It was difficult to read the small font from a greater distance than sitting at a desk.

Quick and easy
I have used this software for about 20 years and wouldn't do my taxes without it. I am familiar with accounting procedures so use the form method of input but this software takes all the pain out of all the interconnected areas of the tax forms. No fear of misscalculations or missed lines.

Confusing
The initial input of personal data so that the correct entries could be made was rather technical. When we went to a particular form we kept getting stuck on that form and couldn't go ahead or back or even to another form! It was really difficult to access the actual return until the end of the process. There was no place to get real answers to questions - I am not interested in hearing about solutions to other peoples problems or getting answers from other non-professionals!

Complete Tax Package
The TurboTax Standard provides an easy to use complete tool for preparing and filing my personal (family) & business tax returns for 2011. It is money well spent because it saves time & money. ALl you need is a computer as yu are good to go. ENjoy!

Great
My main concern is the light blue text on white background and the small font. My eye sight is poor and evan with ZoomTex it is hard to read also this text a light grey on white is hard to see. This years TurboTax was great and easy to use.

Good Value Taxware
I find TurboTax standard to be generally easy to use every year. Font size adjustment from within the program, as well as a go-back button at the top would really make this software easy for older ones. Otherwise, well done!

Turbo Tax Standard
This program is easy to use. You have the option to go step by step with their questions or to look at the tax forms that are just like the paper ones. I find it good to go step by step then to review it by looking at the forms.
The only thing that I don't like is the font on the screen is too small and too light grey. I would prefer a larger, blacker font or the option to adjust the view.

Medical Expenses
Knowing how to enter expenses one at a time on the form seem tricky. You have to double back and edit to get to a place where it allows you to enter one type of expense one at a time. Also, where there are medical treatments conducted over a period of dates there should be a mechanism to capture the range and not have to enter all of them one at a time (eg, chiropractic). Only one date of service is allowable, not a range.

Great as usual
Very easy to use as usual. One thing I noticed is the warnings aren't always intuitive since it indicated a warning for areas that were already completed. Maybe these prompts should be relabelled as reminders instead of warnings.
