Stress Limiter
Filing taxes can definitely raise your stress level - doing it with TurboTax can help keep stress under control. However, asking people to tweet about it is ludicrous! Please get rid of that annoying request for next year's software.

Times Change
Turbo Tax is still, in my opinion, the best tax program on the market but there have been some subtle changes that caught me.
The worst was that I wasn't given the opportunity to save my returns (my own and my wife's) and as a result, that once I had filed my return I couldn't find her's and had to do the whole mess over again. As far as Turbo Tax was concerned, she didn't exist.
The other issue is that I had difficulity in finding the file for my own return but through some fluke or another I stumbled across it.
It's great that you continue to improve the product but please don't leave some of your finer points behind.

My impression
Have used for years and really like it. I would prefer if I was able to install the software on an external drive and be able to install updates.

Minor improvements to TurboTax
1) Place 'Continue', 'Back' and similar blue buttons at the same position on every page to make moving forward and backwards by several pages at a time much quicker.
2) Make the 'Go To' boxes at left bigger or expandable to reduce the amount of scrolling needed.

Button alignments, from page to page
Excellent program, however; when jumping back and forth between sections and pages, especially at the review stage, it would be a little more convenient if the "SKIP" and "CONTINUE" buttons were always exactly in the same spot or position on each page.

had alot of changes in my life in 2011 like getting married and buying first home...filled out spouse's return at the same time, sure made all the calculations much easier, and I think I found deductions I never claimed before....BONUS!
Have all necessary figures ready and all you have to do is plug the numbers in. The software does the rest for you. Even helps with the "netfile" part, much cheaper than an accountant.

Another year done
The preparation keeps getting easier every year. Is it because I am so used to the tax software or has it been simplified? I helped my daughter do hers on an Apple and found it confusing to manouver.

Easy to use. No need for easy steps for me.
Might try it next year. Phoned to double check a necessary override and then there was an update. I needed to know what I was saying or I would not have gotten the correct answer. The tech had to get advice finally,.
Do not use this support very often.

A Real Time Saver

I love how easy TurboTax is to use, and how by using it, i am confident in how to file my taxes and that they are done in a way that maximizes my return. I do find, however, that the Help option is very lacking and not very useful- most ofthe questions i had, i had to find answers online myself.
