Makes things easier
Buy turbo tax every year, because it really does make things easier, but I don't like the nonsense on the right side of the screen. Like the help, but don't like the whole join us on facebook, twitter, etc....just want to do my takes, not connect with anyone.

2011 Turbo tax
Very comprehensive. A good aid to ensure that I pay my taxes correctly and take advabtage of every tax saving opportunity. As taxes are becoming increasingly more complicated, it would take me a lot longer to file my return without TuboTax. With turbo Tax I am confident that my tax return is correct.

Good, but not perfect
Just a small annoyance is that there are some screens that do not allow easy access to flip back and forth between screen and forms, etc. It is not a big deal however.
I find the review section a bit disjointed, but still good.

Windows 8
Program would freeze at random interval on Windows 8 when using drop down selection. To avoid starting from scratch, save you return at regular intervals so in the event the app freezes, you can open the incomplete return and continue from where you left off before it froze.

Keeping it simple

Overcrowded interface
Every year interface becomes more and more overcrowded with useless stuff. All these Facebooks, Twitters, etc..
It looks like TurboTax cares less and less about user experience and focus on value added services...

No opinions Please!!!!!
My main beef is the "Live Community" section. These are taxes with fines and possible audits, we are talking about, I want authoritative help NOT OPINIONS. The help screens do not have a return button so they must be closed manualy and then the screen returns you to the top of the page, very annoying.

Turbo Tax 2011
Good product as usual but could have a few tweaks.
This program locked up when I attempted to view the
e-file demonstration but I was able to send it anyway.
Not all screens make it easy to flip from spouse to spouse. Some required some extra steps.
All in all a good program and I will continue to use it.
Just thought I would give some constructive suggestions. See you next year. P

Could use improvement
Well this is the second year I used TT and this year was not a great experience for a couple of reasons. I felt that certain pages were not visable until I went back to search for them, and I had already checked boxes that I had those deductions to make.
The biggest pain was that I had entered all my info except for one entry and on trying to open it to complete it said the file was corrupt and so I had to uninstall the whole program and start again, that was the most frustrating, it would not work from using the disc unless it was totally off my computer first. However if you have a simple tax situation it covers all the basics. Just felt last years had been easier.

Just one problem
I love Turbotax and have been using Quicktax/Turbotax for years. I just have one problem: last year I filed online and this year I purchased a disc at a store. There was no way to transfer last year's information from the online version, even though it had been saved, into this year's product on my computer. Customer support was friendly and offered to refund but I chose to re-enter that information manually.

Best refund value Tax Returns
I have been using Turbo Tax Program with great results. Previous accountant costs were expensine with the same results but I am now able to complete my tax return myself and save the fees charged by accountants for preparing my returns for me. Easily file spousal return together for accurate results with easy to follow tutorial and tax saving advice. If I can do it, anyone can and save money with quicker refund returns via Net File.

Long time user
I have used intuit products for years. I appreciate that they are easy to use and are always available. I used a non-intuit product once, and the return was grossly inaccurate. Thanks for making a product that is easy to use, accurate and for standing behind it.

User Friendly
I have been using Turbo Tax for a very long time and I have never had a problem with the program or the help tips. The only thing I wish would change is the amount of returns Rev Can will let you complete. I do returns for my family and I have a very large family. If there was a way to increase the amount, the software would be perfect.

Good Product
It is a very good product. I use it every year. The app steps you through everything. One enhancement that I would like is when I am in a specific form or section, I would like to be taken to the appropriate help to complete that section instead of having to type it into the help.
