wish list
I wish the wait time was not so long and I find the forum useless. Only works if someone has the same problem. All I wanted was to be able to print one form not my whole return.

needs more features for the money!
I believe the standard package should include assistance for all types of self-employment including small home-based businesses, for the money.
It seems that the present 3 categories are artificial and set up to gouge the consumer; should be just two- delete the middle category, and include its features in the lower price.
Less glitches than in previous years, 'though.

quick and easy

Makes doing taxes much easier
This is the 4th year in a row using TurboTax to prepare our returns. It's easier and faster then going to a "company" and waiting in line or spending my hard earned money to have someone else do it for me. We share the program with family, a purchase well worth it.

easy and fast to use
I use an old computer with windows xp and I find this program easy to load and easy to use with my very slow operating system. It is the only new program I am sure will upload with easy and will netfile with ease, so I will buy again next year.

Watch the Updates
I found Turbotax easy to use with straightforward instructions. The tips were excellent and the graphics superb. The only drawback is the updates. I highly recommend that you do the update prior to entering your tax information. I made the mistake of competing my returns and then doing the update. Some of the data got wiped out after the update.

Worth the money
Just finished my taxes using Turbo Tax. Finished mine and my wifes' in about 6 hours, our return is fairly complex, with rental income and a recent move. Turbo Tax was straight forward and easy to use, but don't skim through, you need to know the tax rules yourself.

worth the purchase

Ability to Print
It would be a great benefit to be able to print a copy of the return, or certain forms, prior to submitting it, without it counting against the number of forms submitted. With so many different forms it is not possible to see everything and check that I have conpleted everything.

Not bad, but...
My biggest complaint, and it caused me some aggravation I didn't really need was I had trouble trying to determine how much I should carry forward with respect to my charitable donations. Surely that's something TurboTax could easily determine for me. If memory serves me correctly, I think the previous incarnation did.

pretty simple
I must say overall it's pretty simple, but for the few times you make a simple mistake , they make it very confusing to undo little things. ex. clicked on dependants by mistake.wow hard to fix

screen too cluttered
get rid of all the junk on the side. If I want to ask a question or tweet about my taxes make it an option to call it up, not present on the screen all the time.

Good for the most part
for the most part. I was happy with turbotax. The only issue I had was with the slip's import.
It was very unclear with what was suppose to happen and technically wasn't expected to be ready until the beginning of march.
Other than that. It works well. Good value for the money

Simple and easy
The Medical Claim data entry (easy-steps) is a bit odd since you cannot see what was entered unless you go to the medical claim form.
It will be extremely useful if entry fields are not cleared upon going to the next expense. Keep at least patient name there so we do not need to type it over and over again.
Other than that, I am very satisfied with the software.

Easy - Works

Turbo Tax
I found this fairly easy to use.. but being asked information constantly when trying to get info not at hand was a pain. I do know why they ask for it.. but some of the stuff shoulld be able to be skipped. Still, being able to input everything one step at a time is rally helpful.. don't miss doing this by hand at all.

Worthwhile purchase
This package is generally easy to use, with some minor exceptions. If an error or omission is found, it is a bit difficult to get back to the correct entry point. When that window is found, it is very different in format to the "Easy Step" window. This can be confusing.
