Rephrase some of the questions
Several questions are not clear and would be be better phrased in the positive voice rather than negatively (ask what you want, instead of what you don't want). When using the forms method top menu is still way too small.

poorly supported
While turbo tax is good for standard tax filings anything different is poorly supported. They don't give you access to knowledgeable technical support when the software is making a calculation error

algorythm not clearly shown and described
it isn't clear which amount/income i should write for other country for example pension gross or net? or.... that portion of software is not consistent and isn't showing proper places, when i am switching among tables/forms when i am working with foreign income. that software is not implementig properly "avoiding double taxation agreements with other countries.

TurboTax doesn't seem to advance from year-to-year. While the software is keen to warn me to about using TFSAs, it doesn't warn me when it could suggest that I need to complete a T1135 Foreign Ownership form.
It's help file has deteriorated over the years. The Help really fails now.
It could also carry forward a LOT more information from year to year to avoid re-entering (e.g. my language!)

Okay
TurboTax is logical and relatively easy to use, but requires some tweaks, especially when doing spousal return simultaneously as user. Had error messages when attempting to populate from My CRA Account and Netfile.

Its ok program
It's hard when you move provinces. It doesnt work with a mac and PCs arent as secure. Would be nice to use the program and install on my macs instead of having to have a PC since macs are what are in my house. The online version is ridiculous in price.

You can also use TurboTax Online with a Mac computer but TurboTax Desktop cannot be used on a Mac computer. If you are transitioning from TurboTax Desktop, your data can easily be transferred to TurboTax Online, and all your data is carried forward into your new return. Don't auto fill medical expense person
I always have to change who will claim the medical expenses. I have 0 income and it automatically puts the medical expenses on my return. Makes no sense and it reduced the refund.

Bugs in the program

Good but some parts could be more clear
After I enter my Investment Forms (T3, T5, etc.) it asks me if I have made investments that have made interest, capital gains, dividends. Assuming this means above and beyond what I have already entered. Could be way more clear.

buggy
Software is buggy. Lots of areas where it gets you to review data that doesn't even apply to you. It seems confused. Been using it for years and just gets worse. Did anybody test it out first. Get your act together. I'll think twice about buying it again.

Cost and quality of TT suffered this year
This is about my 8th year using TT. Normally offered at discount thru my bank. Discount offer arrived late this year, had already purchased full price on-line (in 2022). S/w was not thoroughly debugged this year - problems with entering digital subscription expense, reputative warnings, etc. Will research alternatives for 2022.

Endless reviews...
Some tax slips are seem to overlap with others. Unable to judge if it will mix-up my return before it gets to the final reviws.
Retirement income split was in previous years straight forward... Since it was not easy to 'discover' the help/guide to delect the right % split for us - I opted for ovreride which was not 'OK'... Yours truly.

Turbotax needs improvement
As I said on the previous page, Turbotax is a good program with major deficiencies. I have a straight forward return and I always work it out using government forms before using Turbotax. I do this to make sure that I am not being lead down the garden path by some program that doesn't care who I am as long as I pay up. It's a good program except it needs to be cleaned up in two areas that involve me. First is bank interest.... it used to be simple with the T5; but now there is little to no interest on bank accounts. Questions need to lead you through the no T5 no interest or must state bank interest quagmire better, Secondly the medical section needs a complete overhaul. I have medical coverage as I suspect millions do... your questions leading one through the deductions is a disgrace. It's a good program with glaring needs.

First Time User
Easy to input the numbers but it would help to explain some the the line entries if the background calculations could be explained. The part about dividends entries is confusing since it appeared to be asking twice for the same input. Overall the process was quicker than when I did everything manually.

Disappointing
I have used Turbo Tax since it came out on floppy disks, last year we picked up by accident (or maybe they only had) the online version, I didn't like logging in every time I wanted to work on a return, this year I double checked to make sure I purchased the download version, then I found out I could not carry forward information from last year.
I also found that Turbotax crashes when you connect (from within the program) to the CRA, I found that if I logged in and connected to the CRA first, then Turbotax worked.

A start of a good product
The program is full of little irritating flaws and ambiguities. Overall, the program sure beats doing it by pencil and paper but it would be soooo easy to make it an outstanding product if the irritating bits were removed.

Turbotax 2021 is annoying in some ways, with added pitches to sell you on things you don't need. Bugs me that it has false prompts for you to save your file/changes when in fact you have not made any changes. Seems to me Turbotax was at its best circa 2017.

As per the past 10 years, I have ~5 different returns on 2 separate computers (as a precaution against computer failure). Repeatedly, turbotax software opened the return for Eric when I asked it to open the return for Ed & Elaine. How do I fix this software error? I could operate only due a second computer containing turbotax. Otherwise disaster.

Fine until the end
Every year It run into trouble filing the return. It goes in circles, asking over and over to review and save and warning, it even closes the return unexpectedly and I need to load it again and whatever else it decides it wants to do instead of get it over once and for all. It does everything but simply file the stinking form.

Not simple to use
Annoying with "ads" trying to upsell your service. I bought the standard tax and all I had was a T4 & T4P plus one medical benefit plan deduction. Husband had a T4 & T5. Confusing info on how to report bank interest...if you enter it as a T5 and then later add it for additional income from bank interest, it doubles the original amount. You should put in there not to add it again if you've already entered in on a T5. Plus it was difficult trying to find where I was to put my Blue Cross benefit payment!!

Difficulties
When using the forms method why can't I fill in the personal information not covered by INFOW on Page 1 of the return, like email address, etc. and the boxes to the right of the form. This is annoying and frustrating and adds time to the preparation.

Could be easier to get into the file initially
I found the initial instructions faulty. I bought the Standard version at the store, but when I called up the Turbo Tax site, I didn't find it useful to get started. I had to call the helpline to get walked through the initial steps.
