Constant errors
Maybe it was my Laptop but every page showed a script error. So it certainly slowed down the process having to accept the error every page. Better not happen next year!

A drop in quality
Something was off about TurboTax this year. It crashed more, was a lot slower, and seemed to have graphical glitches.
I mean it did it's job, just the experience wasn't as good as previous years.

2 years of script error messages
Ive been using turbo tax for 4 years now and for the past 2 years I have had so many issues with script errors. Every single click I do a window pops up with a script error. Its annoying and I fell like i spending more time clicking on yes i want to continue running scripts on this page than anything else! I have uninstalled and reinstalled the software and still same error. Im really wondering if I am going to buy it again last year...

2017 promgram slow
I have used turbotax for many years but this year I find it extremely slow. Whenever I enter amouints the hour glass goes around for awhile and it says "not responding" and then eventually takes the number I have entered. very frustrating.

Editing doesn't work well
The program doesn't work well in newest windows program. I have bought and used this program for many years and no problems, but this year way too many glitches. If I have this may problems next year I will be looking for different options.

No phone #'s
Where you put in stocks that you purchase from your work(not sure where to put that) and then sell it is not clear how to do it espically if you don't have a slip or how to figure it out as most is money already taxed from pay cheque. There is no phone number to call and speak to someone as how to do that. The search does not have anything to cover that either.

I have used turbotax for at least 5 years and I find this the most confusing yet. My wife wanted to see how easy it was to do our tax returns and she got up and left after the first 5 minutes. Yes I will use again next year.

So bad for 2017 Turbo Taxd
After installation, initial load of the program and the script error "Automation server can't create object". During the filling out process, I have to keep on pressing yes to continue with that ridiculous script.

brutal system
did not transfer info from previous years returns.
did not have the option to efile, instead it provides a red circle with a diagonal line through it when you try to select efile and will only let your print and file.
Not at all user friendly and the help option did nothing.

Foreign tax credit difficult to input
I had a VERY difficult time finding where to input the credit for foreign taxes paid (in this case the USA). I had to go into the 2209 form itself to input the necessary amount I had paid to the US. All my income derived from USA sources and, I had to pay some tax on my income even though I do not live there (called: Alternate Minimum Tax) though I am living full time in Canada.

Not Very User Friendly
I was hoping Turbo Tax would just ask me the question for all the information it needs and just do the rest including getting to most return for me. I still have to have some tax knowledge as it asks me questions I cannot answer without an account at my side.

Printing to Mail Frustrating
Please fix the option to create a pdf to print and mail. I had to find my CD in order for this to work. I have been using Turbo Tax since 2011. This is the first time this happened and I would not use this software again because of it. To get all the way to the end and have this happen stops me from ever wanting to use it again.

Helpful Updates Wont Load
I kept receiving an update warning that new forms were available and could be accessed by Jan.2017. Well in July of 2017 it would not let me update and I could not proceed because of the warning. Went to the help site and was instructed to load the patch and restart their program. I did this and could not start the program-after a bit of jigging, finally got it to the point where I could net file---process took me over 4 hours! I have used the program for 15 years and this is the most trouble I have had-- starting with doing my taxes and THEN being informed that Vista is not supported (after doing the taxes!)Moving the info to my Win10 laptop-and being informed that 17 forms have been used of the 20 allowable to complete only 3 actual returns!
