For the last two years one of my tax returns did not make it to the CRA even when we had confirmation. We had to pay twice in 2018 for taxes owed, as we were given notices of interest on unpaid taxes. 2019 the same thing has happened again, I had to submit the tax return again, and the Fed's are warning we will have to pay interest on unpaid taxes, that we paid and have receipts for. I hope others enjoy this inconvenience as we have and had to pay twice and never received any money back or deducted on following years taxes..

Found an error in the program and tried to report it. After an hour on hold, I was told I had to talk to someone else, but they refused to talk to me unless I gave them access to my computer. No thanks. I guess they don't want to fix errors. Also, this year for the first time, after I had NetFiled our returns, I tried to print them for our records. I print individual forms because I don't want all the backup schedules. After I chose each form and pushed print, I got a message saying "this counts as one of your returns". Even though the help section says that the NetFile counts as one of your returns, and the subsequent printing FOR YOUR OWN RECORDS does not, I got dinged for and extra 4 returns. I'm really angry, and not about to sit on hold for another hour or more to question it. Please fix these mistakes before next year. I have used Turbo Tax and Quick Tax before it for years and years, and this is the first year I've had issues.

Not consistent between the foreign pension entry and deduct claim. One is using exchange rate, the other doesn't. And the app response to mouse clicks very slow.

nothing but problems this year, and ive used turbo tax for a number of years...ive done mine and my wifes, and somehow the climate incentive rebate was clicked on both- i thought it was me, until i did my daughters and her husband and it wouldnt let me use the $400 dollar deduction for her staying home to work...then i did my father and mother inlaws(both seniors) and i tried giving the climate incentive rebate to the mother in law and it kept giving it to the father in law...also, it wanted me to purchase more printing, even though the only ones ive printed off with income over 25 000 were my wifes and mine...it wouldnt even let me finish my mother in laws print copy( and i didnt want to start the print all over again because it wouldnt let me choose individual pages)...never again, unless you guys do something about this...

I don't know what you did this year but it has changed and not for the better. The banner at the top isn't as informative, but I can bring up the other one, I found out. It isn't as nice to work with as in previous years, and I have been using this since around the year 2000

When you ask "Is this person deceased" why do you still ask questions that don't apply? Why do you ask if I want to save the return several times after I have saved it? When you tell me I have to mail a hard copy of the return if the person is deceased why is "print return" not in the steps?

It's the same old TurboTax. The "help" messages are as unhelpful as ever. The warning messages at the end are as irrelevant as ever. I only use TurboTax because I'm used to it.

i keep getting "one or more errors" message from CRA but there aren't any errors in the turbotax file. have tried many times over 2 weeks. will try once a week a while longer then print and snail mail it.

Like the year 2020, Turbotax2020 was full of glichiness and was very problematic. I actually had to delete my return and start from scratch. I got a different total each time.

After 15 years of using TurboTax . in the 2020 version - they removed an automatic copy of rental properties income & expenses feature. With no advice to customers that this was being done. Also new - TurboTax charged a $179.00 lifetime registration fee! Previously no charge to register software. TurboTax has gone from an affordable tax program to predatory pricing. I will not be recommending TurboTax to anyone !

Ive been using Turbotax for years to net file my returns and this year I have had no success at all. CRA won't accept them and there are no warnings from Turbo Tax to tell me why

By trying to make it easier, it is more complicated and harder to navigate than a professional software product I have used. Make the diagnostic questions plainer and less wordy.

The forms mode and easy step mode are like running around the world in 180 days for entering expenses. Not user friendly. I have extensive computer experience, and still had to phone Turbotax twice because the program was not operating effectively.

The software hasn't changed in 10 years. The free online software was easier to use than the software I paid for. Help topics don't help at all. I shouldn't have to pay an $60 to talk to someone. "Expert guidance on tuition, RRSP income and contributions, and family benefits." Well thats just a load of BS. You don't talk to anyone. I'll just take my taxes to H&R Block next time.

I have been using Netflix for 2 decades now. This year I found the software to have too many glitches. At least on 3 or 4 occasions, I had to exit the easyStep and make changes directly in relevant forms. For example, it would only allow me enter one medical receipt, and no option to add additional receipts. Other similar glitches. Looks like the QA process was skipped for this year.

I love turbotax. I file returns for my family every year. This year there seems to be an issue with the third return I want to file with my standard turbotax purchase. It sends me into a loop of save/do not save/ rate etc... Let's try this again...

Used this program for years. This year was difficult to find basic line items such as installments. Find or search functions did not work and it was not presented to complete. As well, senior home deductions not presented this year. I was forced to go to google to complete.

First off, I could only install this software on one computer out of 2. Both are identical but one wouldn't install the software. Secondly, could not e-file this year because I could NOT, under any circumstances add my spouses birthdate and she couldn't add mine. A major software glitch.

Was asking for DOB of spouse but was no spot to put it. Also if you wanted to adjust your answers, it wouldnt let you correct. So had to start entirely over again. Called customer support and only found solution from a previous person who was having same issue!

For the last 3 years Turbo Tax has become less and less user friendly. Last year wouldn't update correctly as it was sent out before CRA had finalized the forms. Year before I had to do a manual update as it wouldn't update properly. This year it wouldn't allow me to print or NetFile my returns, kept saying I had used all my returns and I hadn't used any. Return counter showed none used. I had to complain multiple times before it was finally rectified. This year was the most frustrating ever. If next year isn't better, I will no longer use.

software issue. Unable to netfile because of error message indicating " Missing spouse birthday" Had to contact agents several time before software problem was resolved. Many frustrated users expressed their dissatisfaction in the TurboTax community. Very disappointing.
