Okay, not great
The current changes to Turbo Tax are not appreciated. I do not wish to be constantly badgered to by this or that add on, such as the review option. Nor do I like the attempt to force people to purchase this product by not providing a skip option. Don't you make enough money already!?

Deficiency
The program requires more details explanations and more up to date help files, using the live community was essentially useless, I found google far more helpful on questions I had related to my taxes.

T4 ePost import doesn't work
I was very disappointed that the T4 import from ePost does not work. I spent 1 hour waiting in a help chat queue (the phone help queue was equally long) only to be given wrong information by someone who had absolutely no idea about T4 imports from ePost while he took an additional hour to try to tell me it had to be done manually (not what the screen said), then that it had to be done using files in ATF format (no, only if they are on your disk already), asking me for the same information repeatedly, going away for 10 minutes at a time repeatedly, then finally opening a ticket to resolve it. I was able to enter the info manually in 5 minutes and 3 days later received a ticket update saying that feature was broken and it was ePost's fault. Doing income tax is no fun and this made me furious, wasting my time trying to get answers when the feature was broken! Why not put that in the screen for importing T4 slips until it is fixed? I have used this software for 5 years and this is the last time.

Not very intuitive
I found the set up for a couple's tax return to be not very intuitive. You should enter all the information for one person before going onto the next person's information. Also, you should just list the different T-slips that people are likely to have and have them tick off the box to select. I found the question and then more options poping up to be difficult to navigate; I had to select yes to see what was in the section and then go back and select no

Uploading 2012 a No Go
I was extremely upset that I was not able to upload my 2012 personal information to the 2013 form. If this event happens again in 2015 year it will be the last time I use your product.

Saving
This year an update caused the software to mess up my tax return by loosing most of the entered values. The resulting saved file was nearly twice the size of the real tax return file. If you are using this keep regular backups of known good returns - if there are any.

Continuously Got error messages over things I never clicked or selected. Deleted and Re-started and got some of the same messages. The Community board was helpful on a couple issues.... but not all. Same as last years edition but with more errors and confusing parts.

Not So Friendly
My wife and I have used Quick Tax and Turbo Tax for a number of years with limited success. This year,the set up and explanations have been a disappointment...

computer literacy
If you are not computer smart you will have a hard time trying to find your way through this program. I have at times put in the wrong info because of my poor computer skills. My son helped me to pass some of these obsticales. I retired over 10 years ago and can NOT even put this in life changes.

turbo tax seems to be getting more and more tricky to use each year just keep it simple or just sell a simple version cheaper also it all the same basic package and updates online their for the price is higher than it needs to be

TURBO TAX STILL FRUSTRATING
HEY BETTER LUCK NEXT YEAR. I GIVE YOU A "C" FOR EFFORT. WHAT WAS IRRATATING THIS YEAR WAS THE STUDENT CLAIM FOR MOVING EXPENSES. IN THE PROFILE CONFIRM IF STUDENT HAD INCOME AT THEY"RE NEW ADDRESS . IF NOT THEN THEY CANNOT CLAIM ANYTHING. IT WOULD SAVE SOME TIME.

Trouble when doing joint returns
found it very difficult to move between 2 returns, Also if you have to make a change in any olace you have to start over again in that section to get back to where you were working. No ability to toggle back and forth.

Software is Fine IE is Cumbersome
I have no problem with the software at all or its functions very well and I would highly recommend it. The problem I kept encountering was with its interface to IE and ActiveX Controls. This was cumbersome and would be enough for me to steer away from using Turbo Tax in the future.

Nuisance
More screens for ads to try and sell extra products than screens related to my taxes. What could be a good product is made lesser by the multiple screens popping up. Displaying all choices on any given screen would stream line the process. I long for the easy, user friendly days of Quicktax.

Not happy with this version
I am not very happy with this version. Nothing but problems right from download, registration , and updates. Phoned help desk but it's just a recording so not much in the line of support. I have always used Turbo Tax but not sure if I would buy again. Way to painful this time.

Medical Receipts Input Nightmare
The 2013 Turbotax software is very user unfriendly in respect of medical receipts input. Instead of having a facility to input across ONE screen one has to input each receipt INDIVIDUALLY. There is also no automatic provision of the date range of receipts. Users have to do that themselves. The review of receipts only allows a certain number of receipts to be shown on screen at any one time and does not identify them with individual receipt numbers as are allocated when you input them.
It is quite obvious this software has not been adequately considered for user friendliness.

Requires fixes
System knows age of person fling return, then why ask if teenager wants the senior tax credit. Person also files as single then is asked about splitting income - with who. This has been a problem in the past.

OK for PC users
This is a great product if you are a PC / Windows User. In the past I had PC's but now I use a MAC. I thought the program would work in either platform and the packaging did not state PC only, Not fro MAC. So I bought it again only to be foiled. I had to use my PC at work to do my taxes, as once the box is open you cannot return it.
Please come up with a MAC version.

TurboTax Trouble
After a number of very successful years using this product the 2013 release is buggy, and frustrating to use. Entering the Year of Graduation in MB Tuition Fee Rebate causes the program to think there is an error. By leaving all the other values in place and removing the year seems to remove the FIX error message.
Very disappointing product from a company that normally is very reliable. Next year may mean using some other program

Needs to work properly
I got one error and it took me two days to be able to fix it because when double clicking as it asked me to it did not go directly to worksheet to allow me to fix it.
Wasted a lot of my time.
