Not Pleased
It took 9 hours to complete 2 basic forms for my wife and I. In the end I had to file them full of warnings that it would not FIX. I felt Blackmailed when I had a question and found out I would have to pay over $50.00 to get an answer. I will never use this product again. Also, I missed the deadline because of it.

TT2023 allowed my T4(OAS) income to be entered twi
Because TT2023 allowed my T4(OAS) to be entered twice and then hid the second entry from me, besides having an inflated income, I could not split as much of my income with my wife resulting us both paying tax on money we never had. It cost us about $3000. It will take me months of back-and-forth with CRA to get this straightened out. In the meantime they have my money locked up. Very disappointed. This would not have occurred if I had simply done my taxes manually.

Very Unintelligent Software
This is literally just filling out the form electronically. The software offers no real tips, and it has an inconsistent interface. Why must I manually answer questions (yes/no or check a box) about certain tax credits based on where I live (Northern Community?), when I already gave it my address or it knows my age, and I wouldn't then qualify for them. In this age of AI everywhere, this is very dumb software.

terrible this year!
So sick of being rerouted back to where i have to indicate if or if I hadn't sold my residence. It doesn't ask at the forefront yeah or nah. Get it together. Errors on this tax package seem to be a joke. You get what you pay for.

Never Again
I had been a faithful user of Turbo Tax for many years using the "Standard" product. But this year as I was working my way through our tax return I was informed that I would have to upgrade to Deluxe before I would continue. That had never happened before. I had to pay the extra and will never use your product again unless I receive a refund from Turbo Tax!

Forcibly applied for illegible credits
There were existing errors that have never been fixed early 2010's, and there are new ones. For the 2023 tax year software, I am forced to apply for a Senior Property Tax Grant while neither myself nor my partner is a senior. The checkbox was unchecked in the profile, yet the "X" mark was not erased from the individual form. I have to submit the form with this error, and if I get asked why I am applying for an illegible credit, I will blame TurboTax.

Netfile did not work

Poor SW for CRA/ Qc income taxes
Ran into a number of bugs in the software, where info in the fed portion of the forms was not being ported properly to the corresponding Qc forms, no way to correct or override without compromising the Netfile feature.

I have been using this softwarw from 1998 and it has gone from great easy to use to a way for this company to sell higher end versions of TurboTax by making it hard to use and confusing users to think they have to buy more. Not a good company any more, it has been going down hill for years now. I will never use this or any version of TurboTax again...

Quality has gone downhill
Always buy my copy of TurboTax at Costco or Shoppers drug mart. This year the CD installation software path pointed to last years and would have over written the previous years TurboTax version on my PC. I went online to find this was an issue with many customers. I phoned to get a new CD shipped. Having waited weeks still have not received the corrected CD as promised. The other workaround was to download a version from the web. Another issue I had was using the import feature from CRA. The information on my T3 didn't input the capital gain information correctly. Had to manually correct and talking with others this was another problem affecting many users. I have been using TurboTax for years, but it seems the quality of the software has gone downhill. How can they mess up basic things like installation of their software and importing data? How many other issues are there that I did notice?

Online or Desktop Guessing Game
By typing the activation search given I was brought to a site that asked me to sign-in. Now I wasted 3-4 hours after entering all my tax info it would not accept my licence code. No options left except to restart after downloading the desktop version (not clearly communicated on the webpage).
