Help Desk is terrible
My experience this year with TurboTax was not good. The help desk personel were aggressive and suspicious when I contacted them on a technical issue with the software that prevented me from completing an open return

For Turbo Tax 2022 ONLY
I've used Turbo Tax for over 10 years & loved it - until this year. It was problematic immediately & just got worse. Hard to navigate & to find things . Thought it was just my aging brain, but checked with a friend who was having the same problems. Too many attempts to up-sell , difficult to get any useful help etc. I do myself & my spouse's together & we always Netfile - his went through same as always - clicking 'not ready to go paperless/direct deposit info hasn't changed. I was interrupted, so went to Netfile mine the next day - apparently I didn't qualify because 'when asked if I wished to consider this return for Net-File -that I answered no' I never saw that particular question anywhere anytime , nor could I find it anywhere. I wasted a lot of time looking -eventually even setting up a CRA My Account which I never wanted in the first place - thought it might help - it didn't!! More wasted time - finally had to resort to a paper copy via mail. I realize Turbo Tax isn't responsible for CRA' decisions, but having totally different outcomes between myself & my spouse within the space of a couple days , well before the cutoff date with no update from Turbo Tax was just too much. I'll seriously have to reconsider using it again.

Stressful
Wouldn't let me Netfile as it said i had an error or missing information. I reviewed it 4 times and found nothing, the program would not identify what info was incorrect or missing! Very stressful, i had to print it out and gather all my slips to mail it in manually. Wasted $40 purchasing this.

Six times I tried to NetFile. It says there is an Error, but wont say what that Error is. I have no errors. My wife's return was accepted. Mine was not. Two hours on the CRA phone and they could not find the problem. They say it must be in my software. Sooo frustrating.

Learned my lesson - won't use again
One of the worst tax software programs that just keeps trying upsell you when you don't need their other services or the next level software. Can't cut and paste to find answers and their online version doesn't transfer details. Last year I'll be using.

What a terrible experience.
Your program is very difficult to work with. I have worked with it for years, but this will be the last time. Trying to print the return is so complicated, and almost impossible. I need to send my return to CRA with an apology. I had some help from computer Wiss and he was frustrated too. Turbo Tax Taxing made Taxing, and very difficult!

Worst Experience of My Life!!
I have used TurboTax for years but this years experience was a disaster! Import Tslips did not work for my wife, spent hours trying to figure out what information was required, help file useless, 1 800 help line even more useless.

Netfile error
I was filing for my Mother. My father died last year and we had to separate returns to file. I keep getting Netfile error codes related to my Dad;'s DOB being missing. I found a supposed solution to allow me to net file, but it did not work, and I had to file paper

Last time I'm using
Product hasn't improved in years. Can't transfer personal info if used online version and always glitches when importing tax info and connecting to CRA. End up having to look up info on their questions. Just takes forever. Better products available now.

Rental form problem
The rental form kept coming up and prevent me from netfiling even though I do not have any rental. Cannot get any help and finally just input information so I can net file. Hopefully CRA does not give me problems.

Printing Problems
Used program many years without problems. This year the program would not print a copy for my records of the person's tax I requested. It would either print only mine even if I requested my spouse's and then other times it would only print his return when mine was requested.

Issues
The software download for some Quebec RL slips does not download correctly. It appears that in circumstances where I have paid Quebec taxes (my choice), but not Federal taxes (my choice), the Quebec taxes do not show in my return. They are definitely on the Quebec government website and are correct on the Quebec government website. If I had not recognized the missing tax data, I would overpay significantly.
Further when printing only my Quebec tax return after completing all required information, the software repeatedly printed my Federal return. I checked to ensure that I had clicked on only the Quebec radio button.

NO SUPPORT for Technical Form Issues
No technical support (link does not work and only automated voice) to correct Turbo Tax form field with insufficient characters to allow me to enter date for Staycation form, forcing me to over-ride to enter my amount claimed and as such, unable to Netfile.
Also, couldn't open account online - errors for weeks on end, telling me to try again later. As such, I had to buy a more expensive version from the store, which has technical issues in some of the forms even though I have the latest Turbo Tax updates. SUPPORT is sub-par. VERY FRUSTRATED with how Turbo Tax has declined. I will not be using again.

Poor tech support
I have a turbo tax software that just suddenly did not ant to open after a windows update. I have been on the phone with 2 agents who escalated to a supervisor that you can not even speak to or discuss. Very frustrated with your support on turbo tax...every year always an issue on your software. Improve!!!!!! SOmething notès working right at your end

TURBO TAX ISSUES
UNFORTUNATELY TURBO TAX 2022 WAS A NIGHTMARE. I HAVE BEEN USING TURBO FOR A NUMBER OF YEARS; BUT THE 2022 TURBO TAX PROGRAM WAS DIFFICULT TO MANAGE. IT COST ME THREE WEEKS OF DOUBLE, TRIPLE CHECKING THE OUT PUT. I HAD TO CALL TURBO TAX TWICE TO FIX THE PROBLEMS. THE FIRST TIME TURBO TAX IDENTIFIED THEY HAD PROBLEMS TO ADDRESS. THE SECOND TIME TURBO TAX COULD NOT PROVIDE A SOLUTION AND I AM STILL WAITING TO BE CONTACTED 1O DAYS AFTER GETTING A CASE NUMBER AND I WAS TOLD TURBO TAX WOULD GET BACK TO ME WITHIN THREE DAYS. THE PROBLEM IS MAJOR AND TURBO TAX DID NOT HELP ME!!!!!

Paid more for less
I switched from a competitor's product due to a deficiency in it only to pay more and find that the same deficiency exists here. On top of that, as a family I expect that I am able to enter all 4 family member's information at once and let the software sort it out. Unfortunately with Turbotax, you need to enter the dependents taxes first and then do your own.

I wasted an afternoon.
This is the absolute worst experience I've had preparing personal tax returns - and that says a lot...I'm a CPA and do them for a living. The program is awful to use, missing key details (eg medical travel), hard to play around with the return or modify (such as moving medical/donations between spouses). A return that would have normally taken me 30 mins tops took a full afternoon. Complete garbage. I do not recommend.

This year It is full of bugs
I have used it for years but this year it keeps reverting decisions I make back. It goes in loops without ability to see the navigation bar to hop to other locations . It would continue through the steps and stop before the CRA submission . I had to use the menu to print. And if I switch between menu/ forms it has to take me through a complete useless loop just to give me the option to start the step by step again .
