Flawed
It consistently tells me to fix an error. It may have existed in the beginning but no matter how matter how many times I "fix" it, it keeps saying to fix it and thus, won't allow me to Netfile.

too much in your face
The software constantly keeps asking to register software I choose not to because ther is no benefit of registering. If TurboTax gave me $5.00 off next year maybe I would register

2019 disappointment
I've used Turbo Tax for years and always have been 100% satisfied in every aspect. I've been very disappointed this year with the difficulties with the updates, issues with RRSP Calculator and broken links on the turbo tax website as well as the uninstall requirement and reinstall etc. Hopefully Turbo Tax learns from this year major issues and ensures it does not happen again for the 2020 tax filing season!

Full of Errors
This program has seriously gone downhill. It has so many errors and glitches. It says you clicked boxes you didn't, has errors trying to connect to CRA, etc, etc. I will never buy this software again.

Worst Turbotax ever used in all my life. The terrible software updates needing to uninstall the software and reinstall it and then the crashing of the software when trying to simply print the NetFile confirmation. This has been a total joke

Paper works better
TurboTax was supposed to be easy and efficient to use. Instead it was frustrating and inefficient. It's awkward trying to navigate around my return and find previous pages to adjust information. The optimizer is a joke - it tried using up an extra $10000 worth of credits that I had to manually calculate and carryover. Next year I'll go paper.

Turbotax App
I tried to use the APP..Although I have used the Turbotax computer program with disc many times , The APP couldn't find me in your records. I went back to the disc method not trusting the APP. There is definitely a flaw in the newer mode.

Very disappointing
New form T90 is not working with the software. It doesn't print out nor does CRA Netfile see it or accept it. CRA Netfile didn't accept, saying it needed to be filled out, even though I did. Trying to get support from TurboTax was non-existant. Waste of money.

MARITAL STATUS
I AM A TAX PREPARER SO I AM FAMILIAR WITH ALL TAX PROGRAMS. I ONLY USE TURBO TAX AT HOME FOR FAMILY TAX RETURNS. THERE IS NO OPTION FOR A "SINGLE" STATUS UNLESS YOU GO THROUGH THE GUIDED OPTION WHEN FILLING OUT A TAX RETURN. A DTC CLAIM FOLLOWED ALL PROCEEDING TAX RETURN AFTER ONE FAMILY MEMBER EXERCISED THE CLAIM. TOO MANY BUGS THIS YEAR. THEY NEEED TO BE FIXED. I HAVE USED TURBO TAX AT HOME FOR YEARS AND HAVE NEVER HAD THIS PROBLEM, BUT I AM UNSURE IF I WILL USE IT AGAIN. PROFILE IS A MUCH BETTER PRODUCT. WHY NOT USE A MORE SIMILIAR PROGRAM WHEN IT IS FROM THE SAME COMPANY?

Don't waste your time
Very unstable and full of bugs. There is an issue with the software populating my education deductions to Netfile, other users have reported similar issues. There is clearly nothing wrong with the form data, as all these fields are auto generated by TurboTax. I've ultimately had to mail in my return after wasting a bunch of time.
What a garbage piece of software. I will never waste my time with Turbotax ever again. I expect quality for the price, and what has been delivered is very far from that. You couldn't even pay me to use this software again given the time that I wasted this year.

Turbo Tax Is Nothing But Problems This Year
I have used this software for many years. This year auto update of software would not work. Also filing via NETFILE would not work. The only option allowed was printing the returns. Truly infuriating and to think I paid good money for this product. Too bad I had to rate this one star, as zero stars is more appropriate.

How This Program Screwed Me
Worked through the whole program, input all info, owed money, filed out my taxes, found out on July 23, 4 months later, that my file wasnt actually submitted because I owed the money and wasnt given the option for how to pay until they updated TurboTax a month after.. why would i have gone back to check. Never using this program again.

not able to save returns - tt400 error
4 days before the deadline, I spent a full day entering all the details for my wife's and my professional incomes. Then I pressed save and received a tt400 error. I reinstalled the software and was still not able to save the returns. I was finally able to complete my taxes by installing the software on an old windows 7 computer. I lost a full day of my time.

TurboTax 2018, Not a Good Year
I would not recommend TurboTax for the 2018 Tax Year. I did not enjoy using this program as I had in past years and I found it wasn't as helpful as in the past. I SURE HOPE 2019 is a good year for TurboTax or I will have to go elsewhere after using it, and liking it, for many years.

dissapointing
- for regular users: tax forms transferred from CRA did not populate all the fields... major errors/omissions...
- for new users: the only print function has "do not mail" printed on them. How am I supposed to submit then?
- for new users: it does not provide option for bank info to be entered (as new user)

Needs thoroughness
