Not a good year
I had a very poor experience this year, have used the product for 10 years with no issue until filing my 2018 taxes. Many system bugs, TurboTax not launching when opened, very slow, web updates not working, CRA T4 import feature buggy (took multiple attempts to import) and the list goes on. Debating whether to invest in the product next year, this years version was really bad and not worth the purchase.

Turbotax ~ Turtle-tax
Software is poorly designed. It has too many erroneous features! The optimizer results in tax warnings screen. Calculations are in need of refinement!
TurboTax is really turtle-tax!

This time NetFile wont go
This time the changed view seemed okay, but the Netfile process sucked. After doing this for the passed 5 or 6 years filing online, NetFile failed to launch, What a bummer

Don't like your changes
I've been using turbotax for years, I don't like the changes, can't save as in previous years. The help is worse than ever and your on-line help is not help. Will not buy in 2019

Worthless Product
I purchased the product not knowing the code could not be used for an online return. After completing my return online and finding out I couldn't use it, I attempted to transfer it to the application, which isn't possible. So, I proceeded to refile using the software. Help function didn't work. Could not NetFile. I will never use this software again.

first time uers
It's easy to use. I really didn't like that if you include a form and end up not needing it, you can't take it out of the return without starting all over. It keeps asking you for details about the un-needed form and gives errors at the end. Not sure if the software removes unrequired forms from the return when it saves. I couldn't use netfile so I saved a PDF copy for printing. The pdf has large watermark "duplicate not for filing" all across them. Renders it useless!!!!

I have used Turbo tax for over ten years. This year your program has proved to be worst. It is unable to update and keeps repeating CRA has not updated all the forms etc. It is March now, how is it possible. Support screens do not show in a simple way how to update.

product glitch
the cd version give me nothing but problems with product updates, resulting in me not being able to print or file via netfile because I could not download the necessary forms to file. ended up starting over with another product, no number to call for help, very upsetting

CD download would not update forms
I bought the CD download like I have for 10+ years. I installed it, and did my taxes. Then went to save and it said I had to update TurboTax to get the most recent forms and the Carbon tax credit. I clicked Help, Check for updates, and it said I was updated. But it would not let me save my tax return. So, I had to uninstall Turbotax 2018, and reinstall from the internet. Pain in the bottom!!!!!!!!!!!

Would not recommend
Easy steps is cumbersome to use and does not let you drill down to the federal or provincial forms, you have to constantly switch back and forth from Easy steps to forms view. Glitches in tuition transfer worksheet when splitting and transferring amounts to divorced parents and/or grandparents. Assumes 100% is going to the parent whose return is also being prepared at the same time as the child's. Very frustrating program to use.

print options
Could not, as in the past, print out individual schedules. Schedule 4 (interest income) for example not available to print out, nor any Quebec forms at all ???? Instead I had to print out the entire Prov. form complete with countless forms I did not want nor need, so I ended up with about 30 pages (huge waste of my paper and ink) instead of the 6 or 8 pages I needed. Also frustrated with the software not filling in my capital losses from previous years. I had to go into the forms and manually input this info which was not easy at all to do.

Frustrating
Forms were supposed to be updated March 15th, but the program still wouldn't let me netfile after it said it downloaded the updates. I find out through searching myself that you have to update the program manually myself for the updates to work. Very frustrating.

What happened to the quality
I have been using Turbo Tax for over 10 years, I have never had an issue until now. I cant print because the forms are not available it wont let me netfile I don't even get that option. and worst of all is that it wants me to print the forms to mail but it wont let me print because the forms aren't available. Tell me how am I to file these returns ????????

Not worth it
This year for some reason I have had nothing but problems with the 2018 Srandard TurboTax Program. The program will not allow me to SAVE or PRINT my completed return. Gives me an error that No Files Left whatever that means.
Will NEVER EVER purchase TurboTax again after this dreadful experience trying to use it this year and I have been a long time user prior to this!
Save yourself the hassle this year as the program doesn't work at least not for me!

Watse of time
I have completed the tax return and follow the instruction to take me back to start a new return and it keeps bringing me back to the return I just completed. I have used Turbo tax for years and this is the first time this has happened very frustrating. If this continues it will be the last year I purchase this product.

Turbo Tax Failed
Have used this product for many many years. Very disappointed with the issue they had in updating their forms for 2018. I think if they don't want to loose a huge amount of customers, they better start offering a free copy of their 2019 turbo tax.

Technical issues
- Would not register correctly options you select,
- Pages would be repeated randomly, for no reason.
- Verbiage confusing at times.
- Entered my direct deposit info, yet on my printed form (to be mailed out) my account info is not visible.
- The tool failed to capture many credits applicable.
Will not use Turbo tax for myself or my family anymore.
