Turbotax Standard
In 2016 turbotax DOUBLED the amount of OAS. In 2017 Turbotax dropped CPP payment but page 1 of the return included the amount. This is not on and I won't be purchasing Turbotax again.

Worst purchase ever
I was unable to let my wife claiming the dependent amount ( MB credit box 6078 ). She has a lower income and she can get all the credits if the system allows her to do so. There should be an override mechanism allowing us to designate who should claim this credit!

it did not run properly. Major trouble trying to save files and every time I start it, it wants to register although it was already registered. It kept coming up with warning windows saying things did not save properly so I did not know if my files would be there when I went back to it.

Printing Issues
I usually net file all my returns. But my brother in law past away this year and I had to print the return this year. When I went to print the return and every page had "duplicate do not sent" . I tried to look at help menu on how to get this removed but there was nothing in help on how to get this removed. I have used Turbo Tax for years but will not use it next year.

Not the Software it used to be
What the heck has happened to this year's edition of QuickTax??? I found the software to be full of errors, the rendition of all the pages would not fit properly on my laptops screen or I would have to use extremely small print to make it fit. The Help button lacks the context and depth of the information provided of the year's past editions. I am a 10 year customer and it's my last year buying it!

Very Disappointed.
While the software is very easy to use and good value, I am very disappointed that I can not access last years data. Just because I've paid for and used different versions of the software doesn't mean that you can restrict access to previous years information.

what a dissapointment
wow what can i say about this product. iv been a user for 10+ years and until the last 2 versions very happy and recommending this to friends and family but no more. 6+ hours to install because of crashes windows updates and software updates. inability to register online due to "archery has closed" error and then when using the attemtp to fix dialog box it just closes the box. searches about the error show up on Google but appear to be deleted on the intuit user forums. Then when attempting to use the easystep method there were multiple script errors every page of the interview. I have used this software for years with only great results however the last 2 years have been a huge dissapointment. Last year bout the box edition as usual and could not get it to work at all, met min req and ended up having to purchase an additional online version. This year upgraded computer and not a much better experience

BUGGY AND GLITCHY

The worst yet. Took eons to download from last year - too confusing. Took ages to add deductions that should have been simple.
If you do not know about filing tax returns this is not the program for you. Do yourself a favour and hire a tax preparer - you will save time, grief and money!

The software didn't allow me to pay my owing balance when I selected online back (recommended option).
I don't understand why the workflow suggests one option and then does not allow me to pay my return.

2017 Turbotax is the worst
We have been using Turbotax for ten years, and the 2017 version is rubbish. Toward the end of the return you get stuck in a loop and have to close the window and reopen it in order to start another return. Even though we had indicated that we had medical and charitable donation receipts, those areas were bypassed entirely and we had to search back to find the correct areas in order to enter our expenses.

Program with a glitch
Program has a glitch when adding entries, talked to turbo tax reps about this and they could not fix problem. Note: program calculates properly but the small glitch made it very annoying when determining who best to claim certain expenses ie medical, donations etc.
