aweful
This year was the worst ever...many issues with RRSp's, Northern Living allowance...system miscalculations and errors...no fixes...very frustrating. I will not be buying this next year and i have been buying it since it has first surfaced!

I went through the procedure of doing the online Netfile and TurboTax failed to send it. This happened to all my filings, mine, wife and 3 kids.

Never again
Ok I have just spent hours doing the returns just to have them not be able to get NETFILED. Really. What a waste of time. I'm just going to do paper returns for next year. Frustrated tax payer

tt404 Error
Entered all the tax data and saved it. Tried to open the file the next day and got repeated TT404 errors and no graceful way to avoid RE-ENTERING ALL THE DATA AGAIN. Recovery instructions were not effective. I have only used TurboTax (or its predecessor) but having to re-enter the date was extremely annoying. While the company needs to protect its intellectual property there has to be a better way - it made an onerous task that much worse.

getting worse
used to like the program, but now it asks you a thousand questions that you answer no to. It is irritating that you cannot identify the minimized forms, as they are tiny boxes without room for the titles, at the bottom of a blank screen! Also was disappointed that it did not identify that the carry forward of my non capitol gain was about to expire, so it was wasted.

Unable to import prior year returns
I do not understand why this company does not allow customers to import their prior year returns from one platform (online) to another (computer) especially when all returns were completed using the same company's software. This is not a customer friendly practice.

So aggrevating!!!
When entering T4A info in drop-down box (Line 104 114 and 115), it kicked out figure from other T4A I already entered, or it would not populate figure into appropriate line after clicking Save & Close. Took many attempts and so much of my time before it accepted all slips

Lousy help files
The help files in this software are next to useless. Finding the right form to complete (even when using the 'Easy step" process is complicated and non-intuitive. If I can find another software that will transfer the information from my previous years - I will try it. Compared to the ease / simplicity of Quick Tax, Turbo Tax is a frustration to use.

worst year ever
Used your product for the past few years, and liked it and had few troubles. This year the basic input package is the same, but it won't allow me to finish and efile. Pretty frustrated with this piece of ---- right now and deadline approaching. I use to be a fan but if I can't get filed in the next hour, never again!

piece of junk
this is the second time they asked for a review which is just an example of how bad this software is. I had already net filed my return and it asked me again how I want to file it. It was garbage all the way through using it. Stay away from the product. they redesigned it this year and its a piece of junk now. Don't waste your money.

Difficult to use if you have a lot of entries
No cut and paste for repeated field values in e.g. medical expenses. No formatting of e.g. dates, phone numbers e.g;. need to enter 25/12/1066 rather than 25121066. AND NO IMPORTING OF SPREADSHEET FILES or even CSV files. e.g. Medical expenses.

used to be good now is not
used to be good, now is disobedient. I put information in and select who should have this deduction and it did something else. I select what kind of deduction I need for dependants and it selected something else. There was no way to fix that, so I had to redo everything from scratch. That made us not happy.

problrm for me.
T am legally blind and I use a program called ZoomText as a screen reader. TurboTax does not work completely fine withis program as it crashes every time I click on a "learbn more" oor a "help" link. This happened with TurboTax 2014 as well.

Brutal!!! Tech glitch and I cant file my return!
This package craps out when I review the returns. I cannot file my return. I have a very substantial refund, have started from scratch twice, and same problem each time. I have used this software before but it is now time for the garbage.

Never getting again
Have to manually enter information for fitness credit twice, once in federal and next in provincial but you need to go looking for it. This should be automatic or it should prompt you but I only noticed during a review of my return. This is my next complaint as it is not easy to review the details of the return and while a summary would have been nice having to manually print the return just to make sure its correct is a pain especially compared to U File. Should also mention I am a CPA so I know what to look for but I suspect others have missed this and will need to amend their returns

I had to override a field (after consultation with CRA). Because of that, I was unable to submit my return electronically! Because of that, I will look at another program next year! Because of that, I will not recommend Turbo Tax, after having used it for more years then I can remember - back in Quick Tax days!

Poorer than in Prior Years
I've been a user of Turbo Tax and its predecessor forms for well over 20 years. This year I had problems using the FORMS method. I could not enter certain information on the Forms (like Installments and check marks) and learned that I had to go through parts of the INTERVIEW format to get it done. Slow and frustrating. Also, the Summary doesn't calculate the marginal tax rate correctly.
I loved this product for so many years, but now I want a divorce. I'm on the lookout for a good product for MAC users.

Big disappointment
I used the forms method on a simple return, then could not netfile -- it does not give the option to save it in the correct CRA netfile format even though it guides you through it in case it doesn't work. The instructions are not good and it does not work. This is very disappointing, as there have been no problems in past years - for 10 years that I have been using this program, when it used to be automatically saved in the CRA format. How did you manage to ruin a good thing? Has the new 'file your return directly' to CRA website caused the problem? I guess that is where I'll have to file it from now on.

same old stuff
has intuit ever heard of a computer mouse or cut and paste. I had over 100 medical receipts for 2015 and I decided to group them by month. If intuit would improve Turbo Tax year after year it should be as easy as entering my name and the software auto-fills the selected boxes.
Very minor improvements over the 20+ years I have been using the software. SAME OLD, SAME OLD over and over and overrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
