Bad purchase
It is the worst software ever - I have used Turbo Tax for the past 4 years without problems - this is very badly done - please get back to basics that people understand.

terrible
This years version is terrible. Have been using intuit products for many years. Spent more time on support than it took to enter the data. Will never use this product again and persuade everyone I know to do the same.

Worst versionin 20 years

Far too many crashes
I am a returning customer because I have always enjoyed the ease of use of the turbotax software. This year I was extremely disappointed. Everything I appreciate about the program was the same, but for some reason it was extremely buggy and crashed at least 6 times while I was trying to complete the forms for myself and my husband. Twice I had to restart from scratch because there is no automatic save feature - I am not the type to remember to manually save every few minutes, so it is beyond irritating when a crash sets me back to inputting my name and SIN.
There was also no rhyme or reason to the crashes - something would crash the first time I tried it, then work perfectly well the next time. The final crash was moments ago, moving from the "save" menu to the "file" menu.
I don't know what happened this year, but this version does not to justice to your brand at all. I don't know if I will be returning next year.

Difficult
I have found Turbo Tax 2015 very annoying as when I check for updates there was always an error message and had to go to the website to download the update which was very difficult to find.
When I missed a step and I clicked on fix it didn't take me back to where I could fix it. I have used Turbo Tax for the last 6 years and non of them were as difficult as this last one to use. I don't think I will use it again

Not happy
I am so mad 9 months after filing we get a letter from RC saying we didn't pay!!! NOW our medical is effected by this too!!! NOT HAPPY. Then try to figure it out....

Loyal Customer since 1999 is VERY disappointed
The last 2-3 years I had times when I removed numbers and then put them back in, only to have a different refund amount. Made no sense.
This year I did our return 5 times. It wasn't until the last 3 times that I finally was able to get the same refund amount, but for each of these the amount my husband & I were getting back were different. VERY disappointed in the program. I don't trust it anymore.

I have used Turbo Tax for many years, but this year it had several errors that caused the refund calculation to be incorrect, required a manual override, and then it wouldn't allow a return to be netfiled because of a non-existent error regarding tax exempt income. Ended up having to go a tax preparation company and paying to have return filed.

Tax frustration
Previous editions were able to fix errors and warnings but this year's software just loops you in the same menus without solving the problem or giving hints. Besides the waste of time, I am uncertain that I filed the deductions correctly!

The Turbo tax worked fine until the end. I filed my taxes on May 1 trying to use the Netfile option. The forms never arrived at CRA. I had to completely do my wife's and my taxes again and again I could not hook up to Netfile. There is so many options, warnings and sales pitches near the end that it makes it very confusing. I will never use Turbo Tax again.

It took me too long to complete my income tax. And at times the options weren't clear; for example, net filling my income.There was not enough options because it keep taking me to save or print and I never get to netfill and i had to mail my tax. There was another one that i cannot remember that the option was not clear also. I think two year ago or last year was much easer to use.

Not what I was expecting
I’ve seen and heard ads talking about how good Turbo Tax is and how easy it is to use. I did not find it that way. I was expecting the process to be as easy as sitting with an accountant, providing all the necessary paperwork and answering some questions and that’s it. Instead it seems TurboTax ask the same questions twice in different areas. I did my taxes for the entire family and I feel that TurboTax is asking me to decide what to do instead of taking everyone’s tax information into consideration and making the best decision for me. It’s as if I have to be an accountant myself. Not my idea of easy.

How many times can TurboTax Crash?
I cannot believe it. Since when is it acceptable for a product to crash multiple times during ONE use? I've never ever seen anything this bad.
Turbo Tax froze on me at least 4 times while I filled out a single tax return. I stopped counting after that, and seriously just hoped I could actually netfile before it did it again.
I got to the netfile completed screen, and as I tried to click to rate the product, it froze for a final (very fitting) time.
I'm shocked that Intuit has any market share in tax return software after releasing a product of this low, low calibre.

I will not purchase next year.
I have a problem with entrying your spouse's earnings as you do not know what they are until you are finished with spouse. I prefer putting that in after you finish the spouse's calculations.

I've used Turbo Tax since 2010 and never had the problems I've had this year. I can't even print out the PDF version. The program was not as informative and helpful as in previous years. What in the name of heaven have you changed or did I get a dud CD???

Don't trust the box
While officially supported on the box, the software does not work with windows XP. Install and setup worked fine, but the boxes where you enter information were obscured and not visilble making the product usless on this operating system.

Does not work when you have foreign income
frustrating to use if not a "clean" conventional return. Circular errors regarding entry dates into the country. No way to resolve.

Your software should be up to date from the very beginning that a customer buys it, as this is so frustrating that just want to never by your software again in the future.
