*Used* to be very good.
It is too bad that intuit has not kept TurboTax up to standard. It used to be hands down the best product and support was superb. However, the decision to ignore T1135 electronic filing for 2014 and not even promise it for 2015 is indicative of a slump (They even added crippleware to the printing of the T1135 form!).

same intuit, different pile
As with everything Intuit (we are stuck using quickbooks too)... it's hard to imagine so many users putting up with all the bugs and errors from intuit software (and yet I do it too). It's a love hate relationship. Usability on this would be quite high if it wasn't for the glitches.

Turbo Tax 2014
Turbo Tax 2014 is problematic. The Capital Gains section is difficult to understand. The print function is horrible. The automatic setup is metric paper and it takes several clicks to change the setting. That is itself is a mute point since, the printer function does not work even when you try to use it. If you save the file to PDF and try to open it again, Turbo Tax 2012 opens and indicates that the file type is incorrect. There are a number of other concerns but these were the big ones.

not good.....software issue
I have used turbo tax past couple of years and this is the first time I had lots of software issues. I was keep getting UCCB error and I tried to fix this error and end up creating a new file..I did try to search online and noticed that other users has similar issue.......and I found solution later on after spending more than 4 hours today.......

Terrible upgrades
They have changed the program and made it worse they should have left it alone it worked just fine now it is confusing and doesn't make sense the program was easy now it is complicated instead of making it better they messed it up.

Worse explanations
What does more than less than even mean? That is the single most confusing thing I have ever read outside of Shakespeare. Why not just say more than this or less than that.
Half the questions have no explanations! What's so hard writing a few explanations with a example or two. This program is supposed to make it easier not more complicated.

frustrated
Somehow employment Income was added to the report and I was unable to delete it and could not find any help. I finally re-did both returns.
I did a Report for our granddaughter, a university student, only to discover that it couldn't be sent via NetFile...even though the two earlier ones were submitted via mail.
I only do three files, why do I have the choice of 2 or 8? waste of money

I had a problem
I have used the program for many years with no problem. Not this year. the program crashed during every session. If I didn't save manually I feared I would lose my recent input. The crashes occurred for sure when I clicked on an info link on the page. I nave low vision and use Zoom Text,a program that speaks the screen info to me, but Turbo Tax would often crash even when this speaking program was not running. So in sunnary, I am none to pleased with this years effort.

very disappointed
I have used your product for over 10 years have been very satisfied in the past and never experienced the unfriendliness like this before with my new Dell laptop.
The tool bars print is so small even magnifier doesn't help. The drop down forms have almost illegible script when used with magnifier and once the numbers are entered in the tables you only see the top half. Very awkward to flip between my and spouses returns because the tool bars that used to be at bottom of the screen are not visible. This took at least 3 times the time to do the returns very frustraating

Downhill this year
Your change to Internet Explorer 8 caused major problems in using your product.
Another application I use regularily does not work well with IE8, so din't load it.
Don't take shortcuts. You should not need to use IE to do basic processes within your application.
Very dispppointed....

After 10 years now it sucks
2014 version did not process my deductions and wanted me to pay $1500 in tax. Did it by hand and used other software and only paid $200. TurboTax rep told me that I was not eligible for deductions.

Awfulsoftware
Last time I will buy Turbotax. Did the online version 2013 and since I bought the CD version 2014 could not transfer the files. Had to do it manually and pointless when this service is supposed make it more convenient.

Bugs right from the start. I have used this software for 5 plus years and this is the worst experience I have ever had. The software would not update as it could not read the file. then at the end it would not allow me to netfile my return. Very Very Poor

Seems like if your name has an accent in it, then this year's TurboTax will not work and you will have to use another of your 8 files to resave your tax without an accent so that Netfile works. Really!

For help concerning students post secondary education fees, deductions, who can claim and carry forward, you will not be helped using Turbo Tax, instead you will have to do your own research. There is no wizard to help you with questions concerning which spouse should claim tuition for the child. The rules of what is claimable should be clarified for students who move out of province and students who do not move. Turbo tax used to be helpful with questions concerning family situations. There should be a profile of your family at the beginning of Turbo Tax regardless of the childrens ages

So Many Problems
Doing my brother's return (who went bankrupt last year) I couldn't get the program to prorate his exemptions - even though I answered the bankruptcy question correctly.
After entering and reviewing my personal information it took me ages to find the file when I wanted reload it to file - it did not come up when I entered "open".
When I printed my PDF file there was no indication of my professional business income.
TOO MANY PROBLEMS - I will try another program next year - even if it means re-entering all the basic information again!

Poor product
I have used Turbo Tax for many years. The 2014 version was very sub par. Difficult to navigate, ambiguous with RRSP and Investment schedules. All round vague and not user friendly. Likely will not purchase next year.

Sucks
I have used Turbo Tax for a number of years now and never had a problem. This year I found it very confusing especially the FILE section. It said I could register for direct deposit and receive my refund right away but after filling out the form I have to wait at least 10 days for a security code to be sent before I can even request the direct deposit.

Getting worse
TurboTax usually very easy to use. the 2014 version is much more difficult to use. some instructions are inconsistent Then there is those annoying pop ups to buy enhanced veruions!1 wouldn't buy it next years unless I hear the 2015 version is immensely improved.

Gets Worse Every Year
Couldn't delete forms, help doesn't give you a phone number without going thru 50 screens, on screen dialog boxes don't tell you what you need to know, online help doesn't answer the questions ... ie. override a calculated field. Brutal, I'll try something else next year.
