Not as good as previous years
Have used TurboTax and been happy for years - NOT this year. This year there were multiple problems where none existed before, from not providing an obvious workaround available last year to not being able to purchase Audit Defense through the software - and other things. Let me say the help personnel were really good - I am convinced that the problem is with the software.
Spent way too much time doing my taxes this year, and will comparison shop for tax software next year.

Buggy, garbage software
Year after year this software contains the same set of bugs/issues. Each year I swear I will never use it again. One of these days I will find a replacement that will import the current info and then won't look back.

garbage
First time i used turbo tax and it will be the last. I filled in my information and it said i had some problems that i needed to fix. so i wrote them down to get help with them and saved everything else. got help and went back to update my info and it wont let me. Garbage!

brtually slow
if there was an alternative to turbo tax i would use it. This product is painful to use, is ridiculously slow moving between steps, and took far too long for me complete my return. it did work, but it cost a lot of time. Too bad there is no real alternative in the marketplace after intuit bought out the only real competitor.

new release is poor, winXP compatibilty problems
No longer compatible with windows XP,
and I have no intension of update OS
Script compatibilty is reason for poor assessment.
Tax Software is Good and easy to use
Printing issues, previous years releases were better value.

NEVER ABLE TO RELOAD MY 2013 ON A NEW COMPUTER. ALSO WHEN WANTED TO PRINT A FEW FORMS THAT DON'T GET WHEN PRINT RETURN WAS TOLD EACH PAGE I PRINT WOULD COUNT AS A RETURN. poor purchase
I cannot file netfile at the end, it was so easy to use last year, way I cannot file this year, is i have problem, it should remain me the problem.
If I cannot file netfile, why should I buy the software, I can file myself form the form.

Unable to file missing forms
Here I am April 5th and still receiving an error message that TurboTax 2014 is still missing forms and I cannot file the return I prepared which has a refund. I checked in the community and found this was mentioned 2 months and 1 month ago and that the availability of the forms was Feb 9. Being that we are in the last month of being able to file a return I can't believe the forms are not available yet. This is the third time TurboTax has caused a problem with returns I am filing. As the saying goes 3 strikes and your out I won't be using this software again.

Frustrating Experience
Normally I am really happy with my Turbo Tax experiences. I have used the software for the last 5 years and it has definately been worth it. Unfortuantely this year I had a very difficult time. The system requirements had changed but upon checking we saw that we had the minimum requirements includeing Windows XP 32bit system. We figured we could be able to update to explorer 8. Once purchased and installed, we were prompted to update our Explorer program. Normally this wouldn't be a big deal, but it turns out that the minimum requirement 32 bit Windows XP system can't support Explorer 8! So I was left with a program that I couldn't view properly. I mean- I could not even view the characters I was entering in the EASY STEP fields. After some panic I realized I could go back and forth to the FORMS and double check entries. Everytime I was to continue onto the next section or go back, I had to click away an error message about the display...TWICE. It was very slow,frustrating and stressful. I had to quadruple check everything and still don't feel great about filing but I think I entered everything correctly.
My computer obviously isn't new, but it's not ancient either and serves our purposes for everything else. If I don't find a way to get this issue resolved for next year I will not be purchasing Turbo Tax in the future.

Frustrating
Entering information into the forms is very frustrating. This is the second year that they require the numbers to be entered using a comma as a decimal separator. Nowhere in Canada but in Quebec, is this the case. They should have an option in which you pick your province and adjusts the froms automatically.

Worst purchase ever!!!
This is the worst product I have ever used to prepare taxes. I will never purchase Turbo Tax again. It has many errors that should have been fixed in the very first update.
e.g. Unable to couple a return when one of the spouses has died; The software is adamant that a person should have been collecting OAS when they had only turned 65 in December of 2014. Not easy to navigate without using the 'back' button.

Refund turned out I had to pay
I used turbo tax entered in all the right information and was getting a refund. Then I received a letter from revenue Canada stating that I owe! I thought the program was an easy to use hard to make a mistake program. I wont be purchasing again.

More complicarted and buggy
It transfer stuff from previous years that are no longer relevant. It should provide an option to select what items to transfer over. As a result, because I could not delete certain items from my return, I had to manually start over. QuickTax was much better. Ever since the transition to TurboTax, it is no good.

Intrusive to net file
To netfile you have to register the product with Intuit, which is highly intrusive. You also have to make IE your default browser.

TurboTax 2014
I've been using TurboTax for over 10 years but this year its been the most frustrating experience ever. This version, for WHATEVER THE PROBLEM, has led me to consider other programs for next year.
My advice for TurboTax, don't make changes for change sake ... if it is working don't try to fix it !!!

Frustrated With TurboTax
Intuit has no mechanism for you to import last years data (if you used their online service) into the TurboTax program (purchased in form of CD) for this years return. TOTAL FAIL!!!!
