Disappointed
Could not view screens properly because I do not use Windows 8. Do not use Windows because Microsift no longer supports older versions. Do not know why I need a specific web browser for a program that is installed on my computer. Will not use this program again.

don't like new format
I've been using Turbo Tax for years and always found it user-friendly. You've changed the format....WHY? I'll never know. It's not as user-friendly anymore.

The last step would help
This program is hard too transfer netfiles and still don't know. A phone number would help alot. The direction are bad when you get to the last part!!!

changes confusing
I have used TurboTax for many years and thr changes made for this year are worthless to me because it causes confusion when you already know a system. Why not just leave well enough alone!!!There are some issues I could not get answers for. When you are dead what is your marital statis???I still have to finish the return for my friend who died and I am having trouble getting the details I need to continue, such as how does the spouse split pention for the portion of the year he was alive?
I am really ticked off and probably wont buy again next year.

My Confidence in your product suffered this year.
I liked the Tax review walk through last year and previous years.
There were many boxes your program would not allow me to click such as Language and others
My confidence in your program has suffered this year.
Your Program made it difficult to ensure that all the boxes were completed prior to sending it to netfile

Continuous HTML Errors
Next year I'll try another tax return software provider. Continuous html errors - unable to use easystep for T4 entries etc.. Very burdensome.
Have used this product for several years but won't again.
Also, tax return value at end of session subtracted what my partner owed, however, I still had to check off that a payment would be made to CRA within x number of days - now I'm confused - did that payment come off my tax return or do I pay it.

huge waste of money and bad product
This is a horrible product! What happened since it was called Quick Tax. It use to be user friendly and now is not. I can't even net file my return with this! I wish I could get my money back, save yours.

Horrible Junk. Bring QuickTax Back!
I had used QuickTax for years and loved it. Easy to use and fool proof. Then TurboTax comes along and it falls apart. This software is complete junk. I use computers for a living and I nearly had a mental breakdown at how this software behaved. From things like faulty Tab movements to spelling errors and very confusing "Easy Step" processes. I will never use this software again. TurboTax has steadily gotten worse every year.

Awful New Format - Do not buy
Format too large for the screen - buttons are off screen. Difficult to navigate to find information, e.g. HST refund. Some information not entered properly. Help screens re: RRSP gains/losses not complete. Previous format had a few wrinkles which they managed to improve every year, but 2014 version is awful. I've been a faithful user of Quick Tax/Turbo Tax for 10 years and always found it invaluable. Not likely to use it again.

getting worse every year
It used to be simple and easy to use this software. Nothing has changed in my status, but I get wrong results. I had to pay someone to do my taxes for last year. It has something to do with pension from USA that I couldn't split with my wife. Turbo Tax help on this subject is very poor.

Problem. The net file was impossible because it required information as if I was self-employed. I'm not. Because I didn't fill in the information, I was prevented from net filing.

Net-file blocked
TurboTax blocked my netfile attempts, saying the adress on my rental property was incorrect. It wasn't. I'd just filed my husband's return using the exact same address. I've tried repeatedly to retype the address, both at the "fix" button and on the form itself. I've always been reasonably satisfied with TurboTax, but next year I'm going to try a different tax program.

Every entry required some processing... slow slow slow
Forms look hasn't changed since the intro of these programs... you can't see form names with them all minimized

Unable to use Turbo Tax standard 2013.
Thank you for giving me this opportunity to write a review.
I have used T.t. in many previous years and without difficulty.
The 2013 version has proven to be difficult and I was not able to complete it.
I reported the problems I was having through the help line and was told my issue needed to be escalated and I would receive a reply within 5 business days via email.
I did not receive a reply !!!
I will not be purchasing Turbo Tax again...

Tuition transfer
Your software did not support tuition amounts transferred from children to each parent, one child to mother, one to father. Caused lots of work to figure this one out, will use another software next year

THIS PROGRAM IS VERY HARD TO FOLLOW AND WHERE TO ADD DATA IS VERY CONFUSING. DO NOT LIKE IT AT ALL - TOOK FOREVER TO FIND AND CORRECT WHEN RECORDED IN WRONG AREA. WILL HAVE TO THINK TWICE NEXT YEAR AS WHETHER OR NOT TO USE THIS PROGRAM. ONE THING I WANT IS TO ENTER HOME BASED EXPENSES AS A PERCENT OF ENTIRE COST VIA SQUARE FEET OF ENTIRE SQUARE FEET.

Ads
Far too many ads for more payments. Can't stand the photo of the girl on the right side of the page. Couldn't get rid of her.
Hard to go back if you forget a particular slip.
Extremely hard to use and frustrating.
Wish there were more products out there but this one bought the competion and now has little regard for simplicity and improvement.

Poor Visual presentaion
The font size on the interview screen is too small and difficult to read. When reviewing the input data, the inputted data is in small shaded text and almost impossible to read. This is not a good program. Previous editions in the late 90's. were much easier to use

Disappointed this year
I have been using this program for several years and have found this years version frustrating. It gets very annoying to be constantly interrupted by ads for upgrades or future products. This year there I had troubles in several places where clicking a button or link would do nothing or take me to the wrong location. As other software becomes cheaper and reliable I cannot continue to recommend this program.
