THE PROGRAM WON'T SHOW ENTRIES I MADE, IT WON'T ACCOMODATE MY SEVERANCE AS A TAX FREE ROLLOVER TO RRSP AND IT DOUBLE COUNTS MY SEVERANCE WHEN IT'S INCLUDED IN INCOME, THEN IT TELLS ME IM ERROR FREE AND CAN FILE, BUT WHEN i DO IT TELLS ME i HAVE THIS ERROR THAT MY INCOME IS NOT BIG ENOUGH FOR THE RRSP CONTRIBUTION. I have a daughter with a disabilitiy and this was not a good program to navigate between forms and the forms were not intuative.
Then the program did not netfile which is why I bought it in the first place

Not Assessible
I have a vision impairment and was able to use this software. My spouce has to do it for me, which I feel is unacceptible in this day and age. For the price of the software, there should be some accessibility features such as the ability to enlarge the text or to have a section read to you.
I would not recommend this software to my friends as they are also vision impaired.

Not what I was expecting or hoped for
First time user of this and it was NOT what I was expecting. NEVER CLEARLY gave a YES or NO answer, NOT very easy to work with when you have no idea how the program works couldn't just change info to see for the TUITION AMOUNTS that is what was frustrating me. NOT USER FRIENDLY AT ALL DISAPPOINTED FIRST TIME USER

frustrated
I found Turbo tax frustrating to complete my tax returns. The accessing or deletion of unwanted or unuse forms was difficult with no real "Help", or at least not where I could find it. This version is not as intuitive as the earlier versions of Intuit tax programmes and certainly not as easy to use as the competition.

Total Flop
Extremely disappointed with the software this year. Was repeatly getting "ERROR CODE TT604"! No matter how many times I restarted the program the error was always reaccurring. Had to mail a return since I was unable to correct the problem for NETFILE!
Will definitely not purchase the software electronically again.

Disgruntuled Purchaser
Last years version was way eaisier and computer friendly to use. This years did not have have half the features as last years tax model did. Next year I might try there competitor to see how they fare.

Problems in Calgary
I have been using TurboTax and its prior versions for several years. The 2011 version kept closing down with unexpected errors. Never had this problem before. Could be a glitch in the software - or maybe a glitch with my computer. Hopefully will not experience this again next year.

This year is bad.
Having used this system for several years, I found that last year was bad but this year even worse.
Last year I had to mail in return as I could not get it to go by E-mail. Cannot get it to go this year either.
Also found navigatiing the forms was sometimes baffling.
Maybe it is just me as I am over 80 and not good on computer even though I have had one for 15 years.

Don't trust the tips
Leaving it to the "turbo tips" I owed 360.00 moving amounts between my spouse and myself we get 1250.00. The are always special circumstances, don't take Turbo Tax for granted.

username says it all
terms are confusing...navigating back and forth is a pain.....hangs when saving, dont know if changes made were in effect unless you scrub everything again.....it says congratulations in the end as there is no mistake (or something) and the next page will show errors to fix......when clicking applicable errors, it didnt go back to the info page where i can change my info to fix the error...

not intuitive
I found this year's Turbo Tax exremely frustrating. The only way we could enter certain amounts was to use the over ride function, which then created difficulties when we wanted to Net File. The system seems harder, more complicated and more confusing than in past years. I may search for a different tax preparation software next year.

Still an inadequate product
One would think by now, after all these years, that
you would have a product that is user friendly.
However, that is not the case. I have been using your product for over 5 years & it is hardly any better than it was in the beginning.
If I am asked to make any entry and it simply doesn't get entered without any explanation - is that good? If I can calculate income splitting better than your program does, is that good? The biggest flaw perhaps is the difficulty trying to navigate from one page of the Easy Step to another, when you want to check something you did half an hour ago.

Worse than previous years
This used to be a much better product. Now, for Quebecers, it is a much more difficult program to use than in the past. More confusing - difficult to make corrections - impossible to make changes to the provincial return without the same change being applied to the federal return. Help desk solution is to Netfile the federal return, then go back, make the changes and then Netfile the Quebec return. I will not be purchasing this product again.

worst customer support ever
i was unsure how to classify myself in your software. and when i called your support line the man i spoke with didn't have a clue how to hepl me. then made me wait on on twice without notice and on the second hold he disconnected me after 5 minutes.

Extremely slow between queries
My computer is running Vista and last year Turbotax was great. I have used QuickTax & TurboTax for many years. And as usual, the general process of finding/filling out forms was straightforward and quick. However once I got to the point of checking/filing it....yuck. There was at least 1-1/2 minutes wait between screens... it took over 3/4 hour to file one file with CRA. After I had reported the first two I used 2 different utilities to make sure my computer was clean of junk etc, etc. There was no improvement on the 3rd submission..yuck

the problems really waste time
There one or two really difficult to undertsand problems that make the software far less usable than it should be.
1) At the very end as you Netfile you have to answer Yes/No to "You have no income?"
So what on earth does this mean?
Yes, I have no income = I have no income.
No, I have no income = ? incomprehensible.
Totally messed up phrase - who writes this stuff for Quicken?
2) If you have a captial loss from previous years AND you do not use the footstep approach their explanation of how to apply the loss to a gain is also so garbled that their own assistant could work it out after 60 minutes .
he eventually said i would have to go back and find the amount myself from the 2010 file. But actually it is handed over.
There are series of these really awkward sentences - seems to me like they have stopped being so careful as they are the market leader.
Crazy - makes me want to look at the other products - I don't need these aggravations.

crummy again this year
worse than last year....netfiling was a nightmare as software kept saving it as a -tt11 file instead of .tax. Beyond frustrating. Never again, ever. I said the same thing last year, too, but this time I really mean it.

Not Again
I have been using this software program for years, and will never purchase again. We needed to file 3 returns, the first 2 went off without a hitch. The 3rd, was redone 4 times because although no medical expenses were entered, the system kept coming up with a notification stating that we were likely to receive an audit because the total of medical expenses being submitted was more than $5000. Finally ended up submitting as is and hoping for the best. Completely frustrating, and scary to think that the program is updating information that was never entered.

Impossible to read Wasy Step
I've complained before and this may well be the last time I use this product. Light blue text on a bright white background is near inpossibe and frustrating. Tiny blue text on largely blank pages... Why?

Used to be a farily good and intuitive program. That has definitely slipped now!
Once you begin, you cannot go back and change your choice to to your partner's return at the same time as yours. This SEVERELY hampered my tax situation.
If this is the same next year, count me out.
