File savings
There is a serious bug with the 2011 product where it doesn't save returns/files properly. There are several internet posts on this and it's as serious a bug as can be with this kind of product. I had to completely re-enter/re-do my entire return because of it. The bug literally doubled my time to complete my taxes this year.
Note that one user reported that logging in as local administrator fixed the issue but it didn't for me.

Not Quite
This program is not as easy to use as past Turbotax programs. In addition it will not let me Netfile as it refuses to download the info it needs to do so.

DISABLITY
There is a flaw in the software when a spouse claimes disabled it also goes to the other and can not net file. Thanks for the suport for assisting me. Will get the program next year as it is the first year it has happpened and I have thought it was Number 1 for years, just this time it let me down. Hours of beating my head trying to figure waht the problem was.

doesnt save tax return in a .tax format that can be saved and sent via netfile nor does it allow u to netfile your tax return automatically and doesnt provide you with prompts or error messages explaining why?/?

needs work
I spent 2 hours on the phone getting assistance with this program and in the end I had to completely redue my return because it was errors in the program due to marital status questions at the start of the program. Issue was also caused by importing information from previous tax year which was suppose to be a time saver!

Not impressed.
I've used QuickTax and then TurboTax basically as soon as they became available. I've never had a problem, always had no trouble at all jumping back and forth between forms or different sections. This year the software is awful. There are so many sentences that make no sense whats so ever and I found when I made a simple input mistake I had to start right back at the begining to fix it. If the makers of TurboTax don't improve (atlesast to their previous quality) I won't be purchacing their product anymore. I'd rather figure it out-on paper-myself.

error in program
in easy steps : data entered as tax free amout by tax treaty is not entered automaticly by the software in line 256.
therefor my overall rating is only poor, this error must be corrected

Much improvement needed
This year's version of the software was much less intuitive than previous years. It usually takes me about 30 minutes to complete my return and this year it took me approximately 2 hours. More complete explanation of various fields is needed.
Very poor product this year.

Not happy at all
Had to re enter all data from last year's return because I purchased a CD version this year and had been using an online version last year. It's frustrating that the same company cannot communicate between their online version and their CD version... kinda makes me feel uneasy about using their product.

Frustrating
The program froze and closed automatically multiple times when answering the same question. Instead of being on hold for 30 minutes I decided to return it and try a new one. The problem happened at the same question again so I tried to use the forms instead. I would've much preffered to use the easy steps. Then when I finally finished filling out the forms I went to netfile and then the netfile option was greyed out.

The program doesn't work properly. Links go to the wrong forms in multiple places, I can't print my return, I can't save my return as a PDF, and tech support is in India. Can't understand the variation on english.
The program claims to have multiple options for support like live chat or support by phone. Neither one exists. It is only a preloaded Q&A where the program can't understand simple questions like "Why can't I printer my return?".
I have used this product happily for many years, but I think this might be my last.
