Keeps everything Simple

Excellent product
Easy to use, optimizes everything for you, even let's you import your slips from the CRA. If you know a little bit more about taxes you can do most everything with this version as well.

Contact CRA :-(
I wish you will take care of foreign income taxation by country. Gather this info from CRA, instead of suggesting: "Contact CRA", which is not realistic.

easy taxes with turbo tax
I have used this product for 20+ years. I have never had any problems understanding what to do or had and difficulty with explanations given by the product. I will continue to use the program turbo tax to do my income tax in coming years.

Tried and True
Used QuickTax and its new name TurboTax since 2001. Comfortable with it.
Accidentally picked up the Online version and hated it. Returned it and bought the tried and true TurboTax Standard with CD. Love it.

Long-Time Turbo Tax User
I've been using Turbo Tax for a long time; the 2019 edition was as good as the previous years. My only complaint is that they did not fully debug the T1135 software. The T1135 wouldn't E-File because the Easy-Step routine skipped a question on the form. I also couldn't print a paper return (for mailing) as the water mark "Duplicate Copy- Do Not Mail" was unavoidable even when using the feature for printing a return for mail.

Ease of use
If your tax return is straight forward, with income, a few deductions and perhaps an RRSP, this is the package for you; The TurboTax standard package. Very easy to use. I have used it for the past 8 years and will continue to use it for years to come.

Tax returns
I have very basic tax needs and this is so much better and easier especially when the software integrates with your CRA account and it imported my T4 and T4A slips. Filing is now as easy as clicking 1, 2 and 3 and DONE!
