Most convenient and affordable method
Majority of people hate doing their taxes, and I don't understand why. Buy the turbotax and get it done in an hour or so and save yourself the headache.

Don't get the online version!
I tried to use the online version and it sucked. Had to redo the returns using the disc/download version. Much easier to use and more complete.

First Time User - Excellent
This was the first time I had used Turbo Tax and although I was a little apprehensive about making mistakes, it is practically fool proof. I was able to process my whole family's tax returns and we had our refunds within 10 days.

Gets better each year but...
Only reason I haven't given 5 starts is that each year the software gets more tiers and add-on content/features that tend to add to the cost.
Don't get me wrong, it is still less expensive than an accountant and some of these features give you the ability to consult with subject matter experts (review of return, audit assistance) though I did not try these features.
Overall, I would say though it is comprehensive software and can accommodate both very simple returns and more complex returns. A more advanced filer can use 'Standard' and get the job done but will need to do more of their own work behind the scenes to get the info into usable form for the software. The higher tier software will simplify and build the functionality right in for those with rental properties and/or more extensive investment activity.
I have used TurboTax for well over a decade and while there are now more options out there, I am happy with the software and comfortable that Intuit I) keeps up with the tax changes and provides good help files, ii) supports the product both in keeping it current and maintained (never had a technical issue with it), iii) Intuit makes consistent improvements to the useability and product every year. While it is a vastly superior product to that of 5 years ago, it is still very familiar and easy to navigate, iv) Easy Mode and Forms Mode are awesome for both beginners and experienced tax filers.
Highly recommended.

Great product
Very useful tool for tax purposes. Relatively simple to use with great information available. Fairly intuitive. I would recommend to anybody who is willing to put a little effort into their financial well-being. I have used tax software for years and find it extremely efficient and well thought out.

Easy peasy
We have been using Turbo Tax now for about 4 or 5 years and have always had no problems with our tax returns. Everything is laid out and easy to understand, any questions are easily answered within the program or via phone call!

Save yourself money
I always did my own taxes and spent several painful hours filling out the forms and calculating what I owed - and I always seemed to owe money. Turbo tax finds the deductions & credits I never did and in about 30 minutes I'm done & getting a refund.

Absolutely worth the purchase
The program was easy to use and instructions were very clear for the most part. Glossary terms and Turbotax's website cleared up almost all questions and confusions we had while filing. This cost us less than a tenth of what we spent using an accountant last year to do the same job and we found Turbotax to be a much simpler and efficient process for our purposes. Great program, and we would use it again in the future.

Saved the day
I was doing a return for a deceased person and was not aware that Netfiling the return is not acceptable. However turbo Tax had a format for printing the return that was acceptable to CRA so was able to use that and get the return posted in time!

Best Tax Program A-1
I have been using tax software for as long as they have existed. I started using Turbo Tax when it was called Quick Tax. Why would anyone use any other? It's getting even better every year. I love downloading the Info Slips data from the Federal Gov. Nothing ever missed, and no errors.

Smooth as ever!
