Another Year Done
As the number of forms to be completed increases every year and the calculating become more complicated, TurboTax had made this odious annual exercise a whole lot less taxing and almost "enjoyable".

Used forever with success!
The program takes into consideration all the situations that arise for personal and small business returns. It is complete and allows you to look at different ways of recording medical etc for couples.

Quick and easy
Just being able to auto-connect to CRA and autoload 90% or more of your return makes this worthwhile. Just did my father-in-laws simple return in 15 minutes. Mine should be no more than 30 - a great time saver.

optimizing claims
My spouse is in long term care so we have large medical expenses. We also each have some pension income, so appreciate the ease of trying different combinations of who to claim expenses and the optimum amount of pension to split. This would be a tedious task to calculate by hand.

Best Tax Preparation
TurboTax has always been my first and only choice as my Tax Preparation and online Submission of our Income Tax Returns. Before TurboTax there was QuickTax, which I used since its inception.
Before QuickTax I used to type out my own Tax returns with all the computations in it myself.

Faster and Smoother
It keeps getting better and easier. Still a little stuck in getting some questions answered, particularly around entering USD income amounts - is it pre-conversion or afterwards? Which way is the exchange rate to be entered? CDN to USD or the other way?

Much better than paper
Help text along the way is a time saver. The bookmark feature allows for personal optimization techniques to be applied quickly. Combining two forms is a great feature.

Continues to be a good product
I have used TurboTax for many years. It continues to be easy to use and easy to follow all the inputs required. I highly recommend it. Now that isn't saying it is perfect. There are always a few areas that need improvement such as asking if I want to register with the CRA's My Account and not giving me the option to tell them that I already am registered that way. Maybe they'll get it right next year.
